The results are in.... and the manuscript is edging ever closer to submission!
All of the site leads should have a copy of the results in their inbox.
Looking forward to sharing it with everyone else really soon!
After a couple of COVID-related delays, we’re extremely pleased to be sitting down to look at the statistical analysis of the results of the study.
Hopefully, we’ll be starting on the manuscript later this week and will have some results with you soon!

Our @BMJ_Open paper https://t.co/rs5RmWxojU is out today looking at the “Need for Recovery”. Is this an early indicator of impaired healthcare staff wellbeing? Check out our @bmjlatest blog where @timecritical and I make the case for using this tool https://t.co/TIEO0BNFtU
We’ve had a quick look at the responses today. Obviously the results will take a little while to be in the public domain, but with:
- 50 sites
- 529 responses
- a response rate of 88%
......... it would be fair to say we’re REALLY looking forward to getting them to you ASAP
All of the survey links for the ACP I-NFR study have now been closed.
Massive thanks to all the ACPs who have responded - it has been a fantastic month!
We’ll hopefully be able to give you a “sneak peak” at some of the numbers later today.........
There has been an absolutely amazing response to the survey so far and a massive thanks to each participant and all the site leads.
We’ve still got 7 days left yet though and would love it if we can collect a few more responses!
Just 15 minutes of your time is needed.........
Check out this fantastic podcast - a really useful overview of the need for recovery score and how @lauracottey@timecritical (et al) have brought it to the field of emergency medicine!
@carmenclark_eye Hi Carmen - unfortunately we have closed to new sites but would be very happy to help in anyway we can.
Please get in touch via the email in the twitter bio!
And we are off!
The survey links are now “live” for all of the hospital sites.
The site leads will be sending them to their teams (so keep an eye on your inbox!)
Let us know if you have any problems.
Thanks again for all the enthusiasm!

@ChrisAnstey4@WealeSarah Hi Chris! Thanks for getting in touch - to confirm this is just for ED ACPs (but happy to share the protocol if you wanted to do a medical ACP study)
Unfortunately we didn’t have any contact from Hereford and are now closed to new sites - but thanks for the suggestion!
Check out our new website!
We’ll be using it to highlight the awesome ACP teams who are taking part and to help with the dissemination of the results.
41 sites / 490 potential ACPs so far!
Is your site is on the map? If not then get in touch!
