Dr. Nadia Balucani (@NBalucani, of @UniperugiaNews and associated member of the Italian Institute of Astrophysics #INAF) is an invited speaker at #ACSastrochem10. See her talk about stability of small aromatics in extraterrestrial environments on Sunday afternoon at #ACSFall2023!
The #ACSastrochem10 symposium is packed with exciting sessions looking back at the first decade of the Astrochemistry Subdivision and inviting participants to think about the next!

We already shared why Ryan Fortenberry (@UMAstroChem) looks forward to Subdivision symposia, but his words are worth sharing again! #ACSastrochem10 starts in 4 days, and we can't wait to connect with you there! #ACSFall2023
Katarina earned a B.S. in Chemistry from @KutztownU and a Ph.D. from @UWMadisonChem. During her Ph.D., she worked on SubLIME (Sublimation of Laboratory Ices Millimeter/submillimeter Experiment at @NASAGoddard, where she is now a @NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) Fellow.
#ICYMI Dr. Katarina Yocum won the Subdivision's 2023 Outstanding Dissertation Award! She will be giving a talk at #ACSFall2023 on Tuesday, August 15, at 8:30 a.m. in Moscone South 216 as part of #ACSastrochem10.
Congrats, Katarina!
It's been 10 years since the first ACS Astrochemistry Subdivision symposium at an @AmerChemSociety meeting! Nadia Balucani (@NBalucani), who organized that meeting with Ralf Kaiser, explains why astrochemistry is such a stellar field and worth celebrating with #ACSastrochem10!
Are you excited to get an Astrochemistry Subdivision sticker at #ACSFall2023? Well, you can thank @MarylandACS, who donated funds for stickers and to support some other activities at the #ACSastrochem10 symposium! Thank you to the Maryland Local Section for helping us celebrate!
Stickers for @ACSAstrochem are here!! I'll be handing them out at the #ACSastrochem10 symposium at #ACSFall2023!!
Each of the letters features artwork by yours truly π

The McGuire Group at @MIT is a sponsor of the #ACSastrochem10 symposium at #ACSFall2023! Thank you so much for your support!
Make sure you check out the talk on Tuesday afternoon by the group's PI @astrochembrett!
Thank you, Green Bank Observatory (@GreenBankObserv), for sponsoring the #ACSastrochem10 symposium at #ACSFall2023! GBO, especially the Green Bank Telescope, has been important for finding new molecules in space, so we're happy you're helping us celebrate our 10-year anniversary!
We're about a week and a half out from the start of #ACSFall2023! Over the next week, we'll be highlighting our sponsors for the #ACSastrochem10 symposium, starting with the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian (@CenterForAstro). Thank you for your generous support!
The #ACSFall2023 meeting starts in just over three weeks! Just like invited #ACSastrochem10 speaker Cecilia Ceccarelli, who studies how planetary systems like our own are born and evolve, we are excited for the exchanges that will take place among the people in our community!
Are you a student attending (or interested in attending) the #ACSastrochem10 symposium? Bridge Travel Awards will help fund students from groups traditionally underrepresented in chemistry attend #ACSFall2023. Check out the link in the post below to learn more and apply!
What has propelled astrochemistry in the last decade, and what will fuel it in the next? Invited #ACSastrochem10 speaker Dr. Victor Rivilla (@ryvendel) makes a case for new telescopes! #ACSFall2023
