@CIO_CISO_Mike@ChrisWillx Yes some are just like some golf courses. They are all bad for the environment but at least golf course bring humans together for fun. Iโm an advocate to keep both but pay for it yourself.
@mhirstwood@jonbrooks I just think your post needs a better timeline. I donโt see immediate harm. I think this is preventing people to buy and they should be. There is no immediate doom. Go look at European real estate prices over the last 100 years
@mhirstwood@jonbrooks Great wealth transfer is real per your post. They wonโt even pay taxes on it because itโs in a trust. They can rent the property and pay for healthcare costs.
@mhirstwood@jonbrooks Historically, Iโve been right and youโre discussing the present/future. Show me the depression in 6 months. All you have is charts showing โpotential painโ. I agree there will be pain but anyone with cash needs to dive into an asset now or it will continue to be unaffordable.
@mhirstwood@jonbrooks I respectfully disagree. Anytime you see turmoil in any country - the people with money will buy homes in US. Also, the boomer generation will pass on their wealth to the next generation. The unfortunate part is that you will see a bigger wealth gap created.
