The murder of Charlie Kirk is part of a disturbing rise in political violence that threatens to hollow out our public life.
A free society relies on the premise that people can speak out without fear or humiliation.
No more political violence.

@AngelaCondo@GovMikeDeWine I just spent $1100 yesterday at the pharmacy for my son's diabetic supplies. Pretty sure he doesn't have a choice about staying alive.
In 1948, near Charleston Pike, Chillicothe, OH, a steam locomotive's boiler blew up. This accident resulted in the deaths of three crew members: the fireman, brakeman, and engineer.
Why did it happen? The train was ascending a hill, and the boiler was too hot due to low water. When they added water, it instantly evaporated, causing an explosion due to the trapped hot gas inside.
The twisted steel structures? Those are feedwater heaters designed to pre-warm the water entering the boiler, enhancing the boiler's efficiency.
By the 1920s, more efficient diesel and electric locomotives began replacing steam ones.
