Woke up feeling AWFUL about the Eury Perez outing. It goes far beyond pulling a guy with a perfect game intact. Far beyond protecting a guy 3 starts back from injury. From his reaction (or lack of) to being pulled to HOW the game unfolded (pitch calling) there are multiple layers of & examples of how quickly the game continues to change. Someday soon, an MLB team is going to stumble on a new "trend" and value things that championship baseball teams valued 20-30 years ago. That team will have some success, and then suddenly, all 30 teams will adopt that "new age strategy." They'll make up some new lingo, find a way to back it up with data, and market it as if it's shiny and new.

However they market it, I'll be on board.
