To stop the defamation of the Jewish people, and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. Serving eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, & Delaware
Yesterday, @SesameStreet posted in honor of #JewishAmericanHeritageMonth. It was a simple, respectful and much-appreciated post. Yet if you look at their Instagram feed, you'll notice something unique: the comment section is turned off. Why? Because it was flooded with vile antisemitism.
People flocked to an account known for spreading kindness just to express anti-Jewish hatred. This is not ok. Antisemitism on social media normalizes anti-Jewish hate online and offline and contributes to an increasingly threatening environment for Jewish people everywhere.
We are devastated by the deadly shooting at the @islamicsandiego. No one should fear for their safety while attending a house of worship or school.
Our hearts are with the victims, their loved ones, and the broader Muslim community during this horrific moment. ADL and the ADL Center on Extremism are monitoring the situation closely.
I released the following statement with
@SenJudySchwank, as cochairs of the PA Legislative Jewish Caucus, in reference to the materials arriving in folks' mailboxes in the Lehigh Valley
We are grateful to @PAAttorneyGen, @RepDanFrankel, and @SenJudySchwank for standing up against hate and using their voices to protect our communities. Their courage reminds us that when leaders speak out, they demonstrate that antisemitism has no place in our society. Thank you for your leadership and moral courage.
Last month, I talked about the need to speak out against antisemitism when it is seen. Today, I feel compelled to do just that.
The mailing deployed in a Lehigh/Bucks county state senate race was antisemitic. Its language and use of an Israeli flag that targeted a Jewish state senator inappropriately suggests disloyalty to America.
That is the type of antisemitic action and rhetoric that must be called out, condemned and shunned.
Must listen. @MattiFriedman joins @dansenor to unpack how Nicholas Kristof's @nytimes column on alleged sexual violence committed against Palestinians gets the story badly wrong, relying on sources like Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, which has falsely accused Israel of organ theft and claims dogs are trained to rape prisoners. That kind of sourcing doesn't just discredit a column. It leads people to question sexual violence allegations, doing a profound disservice to victims everywhere.
All victims of sexual violence deserve rigorous, impartial journalism. This is not it.

ADL deeply mourns the loss of our longtime national director, Abraham H. Foxman z”l. Abe, a Holocaust survivor, served his entire 50-year career at ADL, becoming one of the world’s foremost voices against antisemitism and hate.
May his memory be a blessing.

Experiencing hate can be traumatic and confusing.
After a man appeared at a rally in a Nazi uniform, we coordinated with law enforcement, assessed the risk, and supported the community with safety guidance.
We remain vigilant—working every day to confront hate and support those impacted.

In October, a Catholic school parade float depicted the gates of Auschwitz—turning real tragedy into decoration. We partnered with local Catholic leadership to address this through education and action. We don’t fight hate with hate— we fight hate with knowledge.

281 Antisemitic incidents were recorded across Pennsylvania in 2025.
The number of incidents in 2025 is down from the 2024 spike, yet remains more than double 2022 levels (114), making this an ongoing and serious concern.
