For Jewish American Heritage Month, Attorney General Dave Sunday reflects on experiences he has had throughout the Commonwealth this past year. To our Jewish community, we hope this month has been full of light and love.

“The same architecture that keeps a child scrolling past midnight also keeps a teenager in a feed of Holocaust denial.”

As @ADLPhiladelphia's @AndrewGoretsky explained, “It’s not about improving the grade, it’s not about the report card, it’s about the protection of our students on campus.” The good news is @TempleUniv's grade improvement to an A in our 2026 Campus Antisemitism Report Card demonstrates the impact of regional collaboration with the university to improve safety for Jewish members of the campus community. https://t.co/dyeeDhrFk3
Seeing more hate online? You're not alone, and you have options.
ADL's Online Hate & Harassment Reporting Guide shares what to report, how to report it, and what safety tools exist on major platforms.

Our office was proud to join the @PA_HumRelComm for their "No Hate In Our State Town Hall" last night. After antisemitic and racist graffiti was found at Roxborough High, we came together in unity alongside elected officials Councilmember Curtis Jones, Jr. and @RepTarik, and PHRC's Amber Harris and Joseph Green II.
Thank you to all who came together for understanding and peace rather than division. (via @CBSPhiladelphia)

ADL's Rachel Greenberg recently traveled to Poland where she found herself standing on her family's unmarked graves — sacred sites demolished, history unacknowledged.
80+ years after the Shoah, antisemitism has moved from the margins to the mainstream. That's why Holocaust education is more important than ever - because it's "not only about memory. It’s about prevention." https://t.co/5kfp9mOJOm
Today in Philadelphia, a rally was held that glorified terrorism, called for violence, and featured antisemitic rhetoric.
We’ve released a joint statement alongside our colleagues at @JFedinPhilly and @AJCGlobal Philadelphia. Read it here: https://t.co/NujHOqQ43j
This weekend, the largest synagogue in Mississippi was targeted in an arson attack. This isn't an isolated incident. It's part of a surge in antisemitic violence.
Hundreds of houses of worship need protection and aren't getting it.

Recent local incidents are pointing to a larger problem.
As senior regional director @AndrewGoretsky says in @thephilacitizen, "antisemitism is too often overlooked, or worse, enabled in spaces explicitly designed to combat bias and promote belonging."

ADL Philadelphia, @AJCGlobal Philadelphia/Southern NJ, and @JFedinPhilly share the EEOC’s commitment to combating antisemitism and protecting Jewish employees from discrimination and harassment on college campuses and we appreciate that the EEOC has undertaken a number of critical investigations to help do just that. We are, however, concerned about the privacy and constitutional implications of any effort (even those that are well-intentioned) to force the production of a list of Jewish faculty, staff, and students by religious affiliation, along with confidential responses from participants in Penn’s internal Antisemitism Task Force.
History has taught us to be vigilant when governments compile lists of people based on religious identity, and we hope that the EEOC’s important work can continue without such a list.
We're heartened that a Maryland man who sent threatening mail to Jewish institutions — including here in Philadelphia — has pled guilty. We've been in touch with the local community affected, and we hope this brings closure to them. We thank law enforcement for their hard work in investigating these incidents in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and across the DC Metro area.
Whether it's spoken or written, harassing Jews will never be tolerated.

The pink triangle was used by the Nazis to label gay men during the Holocaust—a genocide rooted in antisemitism that also targeted LGBTQ+ people, Roma, people with disabilities, and others. Today, that same symbol has become a powerful emblem of Pride and resilience. This LGBTQ+ History Month, learn about the history of the pink triangle and the intersection of LGBTQ+ and Jewish histories during this dark period from our friends at @weitzmanmuseum

This is what leadership looks like.
When hate tries to spread, we need leaders who speak out clearly and decisively. Thank you to Mayor Jack Ritter and the Mechanicsburg Borough Council for taking a firm stand against the distribution of hate-based literature and for reaffirming the Borough’s commitment to respect, safety, and unity. This is exactly what we need leaders to do—protect community values and reject intimidation and prejudice.

Paul Ingrassia’s self-described 'Nazi streak' is both shocking and dangerous. It is deeply troubling that someone who has supported promoters of antisemitic conspiracy theories, used them himself, and downplayed Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel could occupy a senior government position.

.@ADL alerted law enforcement in July about an unidentified user in Colorado who had posted content that emulated mass shooters, celebrated graphic violence and promoted white supremacy.
Tragically, that user went on to carry out the recent shooting at Evergreen High School.

4 U.S. school shooters in the last 9 months were active on the violent gore site "WatchPeopleDie" before their attacks.
ADL's @orensegal said, "There is something connecting them, and it is these horrible online spaces. So even though the tragedy is unique every single time, we can point to a common thread." More in @denverpost: https://t.co/NYRGJdO19M
