To stop the defamation of the Jewish people, and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. Serving eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, & Delaware
In 2005, a campus training slide listed Zionism next to racism and sexism. The presenter couldn't explain it. @AndrewGoretsky writes about that moment and why colleges must teach what Zionism and antisemitism mean. @insidehighered: https://t.co/vjHKTRVYtF
Prosecutors allege a Haverford professor used anonymous accounts to send a colleague about 50 antisemitic, threatening messages and posted the family's address. He is presumed innocent.
Higher ed shouldn't wait for a verdict to ask what it owes Jewish students and staff.
Last week, ADL and the J7 Task Force traveled to the UK and Ireland for the annual J7 summit, amid rising antisemitism and growing threats to Jewish communities. With 2025 marking the deadliest year for antisemitic attacks against diaspora Jews in over 30 years, the need for action is urgent. It cannot wait.
Throughout the week, we heard directly from Jewish communities about the challenges they face and brought their concerns to government officials and institutional leaders, including the UK's Foreign Secretary, Ireland's Taoiseach, government ministers, BBC leadership and members of Parliament.
Our message was clear. World leaders must recognize antisemitism as a growing and imminent threat to Jewish communities and our shared democratic values, and take concrete action. That means strengthening security for Jewish institutions, enforcing hate crime laws, confronting antisemitism in the media and online and holding leaders accountable.
We’re proud and grateful to expand our partnership with @nhclc to fight antisemitism and strengthen Christian and Jewish ties.
Here’s what’s new this year: sermon and prayer guides to help pastors speak out against antisemitism, a bilingual English-Spanish Sunday school curriculum celebrating the Jewish people and the Land of Israel, new connections between churches and synagogues, and joint advocacy for bipartisan legislation to create safe access zones around houses of worship.
As @JGreenblattADL said, “That is the America we are building. Young Christians and Jews who stand shoulder to shoulder. And neighbors who become friends.”

A white supremacist pleaded guilty yesterday to damaging religious property. George Horn of Dundalk, Maryland, spray-painted swastikas on gravestones at a Jewish cemetery and admitted he targeted it because it was Jewish.
The conviction stems from an alert from the ADL Center on Extremism, which @USAO_MD commended for its "valuable assistance" in the investigation.
ADL helps hold accountable those who target the Jewish community. Accountability is central to our mission to protect.

Wikipedia's "Gaza war" article was stripped of about 17,000 characters documenting the October 7 atrocities, including evidence of sexual violence. What remains is one line saying terrorists "reportedly engaged" in such violence, which is an attempt to present it as contested information rather than an established fact.
Banned editors' work is still largely in place. Read ADL's new report: https://t.co/wkkJvm75Wz
Smashing windows and scrawling pro-BDS graffiti on a bank in New York is vandalism meant to intimidate Jewish New Yorkers and companies that do business with Israel.
Thank you, @SpeakerMenin, for speaking out and demanding answers. https://t.co/fobjqAWKYb
A troubling new @IMPACT_SE report finds that Syria’s post-Assad curriculum is not moving toward tolerance, but rather continuing to promote an extremist worldview. Textbooks continue to promote antisemitic stereotypes, glorify violent jihad and martyrdom, and marginalize minorities.
If Syria’s new leadership seeks international legitimacy, what it teaches the next generation must be part of the test. Without meaningful education reform, the same hatred and extremism risk being carried forward, undermining any real prospect for peace, coexistence and reconciliation in the region. https://t.co/wRANXl5tm7
Wikipedia banned editors behind an antisemitic, anti-Israel editing campaign. But nearly two years later, many of their biased edits are still live on the platform.
ADL’s new report, Damage Done: Wikipedia Leaves Biased Edits Unchecked Despite Editor Bans, exposes how Wikipedia has failed to clean up the damage.
ADL's @orensegal explains why banning editors isn’t enough: Wikipedia must correct the biased edits, address antisemitic bias on the platform, and uphold its own standards of neutrality.
Year two of our partnership with @NHCLC, and 25 years of their leadership to celebrate! 🎉
With 6,274 antisemitic incidents recorded in 2025, the third-highest year since 1979, we're equipping pastors to speak up and stand with the Jewish community through sermon and prayer guides, church visits and new joint programs. Honored to be at #NHCLCSummit.
The term “Shylock” is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.
ADL, @jfederations, @AJCGlobal, @Conf_of_Pres and @PrizmahCJDS are appalled that a planned professional development trip by Jewish early childhood educators to Reggio Children in Italy was met with political litmus tests and antisemitic rhetoric.
This incident reflects a troubling pattern of isolating Jews and Jewish institutions and making their participation in civic spaces contingent on renouncing ties to Israel, the world's sole Jewish state. Bringing this into early childhood education is particularly disturbing.
We call on Reggio Children to issue an unambiguous public apology acknowledging the antisemitism these educators faced and take concrete steps to ensure all educators are welcomed, respected and treated equally. A commitment to justice for all children must include Israeli and Jewish children.

1/ This month, we released ADL's #StateOfTheArts, examining the exclusion of Jewish and Israeli voices across American cultural life.
Now, we're taking a closer look at Missing Chapter, which identifies seven anti-Jewish trends reshaping publishing since 10/7, based on 30+ interviews with authors and industry professionals. 🧵
Jewish social workers are being excluded from professional listservs for supporting Zionism, and some therapists are promoting "antizionist therapy."
Identity-based litmus tests have no place in any profession. We join The Jewish Social Work Consortium in urging professional associations to recognize this discrimination and enforce their ethical standards. https://t.co/gaLGPOPAaI
New ADL research found that many edits by Wikipedia-banned editors remain on the platform, and that efforts to push antisemitic and anti-Israel bias have become more subtle, including slowly reverting edits to avoid drawing attention.
As ADL's Daniel Kelley said, “As a one-off, it doesn’t necessarily seem to be anything. But when they’re constantly reverting edits on a particular topic, and they are connected to this other activity, it does show that this is a very subtle part of their broader ideological push."

Wikipedia is no longer a neutral source. ADL has uncovered a coordinated campaign to fill Wikipedia with bias and antisemitism. And because ChatGPT and other AI tools rely on it, these distortions spread misinformation and antisemitic narratives to millions of people.
You can help set the record straight by joining ADL in urging Wikipedia to adopt major reforms so it can't be weaponized to spread hate. https://t.co/S2LbGUjiOW
A DSA chapter in California pulled its endorsement of a candidate after learning she is a Zionist. Rejecting a candidate for being a Zionist is a litmus test that targets the vast majority of Jews. Zionism is the belief in Jewish self-determination in our ancestral homeland. Excluding people over it is antisemitic.
We join the Catholic community and people around the world in praying for Pope Leo XIV's full and speedy recovery.
Wishing you a refuah shlemah, @Pontifex. https://t.co/5G55LQuK6f
🚨NEW: ADL and @GratzCollege are launching From Recognition to Response: Antisemitism on Campus, a free, self-paced program that helps higher ed professionals recognize antisemitism, respond to incidents, and strengthen Jewish belonging. Learn more: https://t.co/EzhDZQc4Rr
Soccer is supposed to bring people together, not shut them out.
Yet once again, Israeli soccer fans are being barred from attending a match in Europe, this time in the Netherlands.
Threats of violence must be taken seriously, but the answer should be to protect fans, not exclude them.
The formula is simple: Protect the fans. Address the threats. Don't let intimidation win.
