A Pioneer for Prosperity! 🇺🇸

Every Congress, @AFPhq recognizes exceptional lawmakers who champion policies and stand on principle to help make people’s lives better.

Congratulations to @RogerMarshallMD on receiving the Pioneering Prosperity Award for the 119th Congress!

Kansans don’t want socialism. Cindy Holscher and her fellow “comrade” candidates just campaigned together under the DSA banner.

Socialism always fails and always will.

#stopsocialism

[AFP KS @AFPKansas]

Socialism promises more. It delivers less.

We believe the path to prosperity is simple: empower people, not government.

It’s time to fight socialism and defend the freedom that allows Kansans—and all Americans—to thrive. 🇺🇸

We pause to remember the innocent lives lost, the heroes who selflessly stepped into danger, and the families forever changed on September 11, 2001.

[AFP KS @AFPKansas]

Glad we could help make it happen. Universal recognition is an important issue for us in Kansas, and we're proud to support policies that help talented professionals get to work faster and serve our communities.

@RepSpartz , the vote for the “Take Care of America’s Veterans Act” is coming up, let’s accomplish this mission for our veterans and vote yes! #PassTCAVA

[Senator Jerry Moran @JerryMoran]

Our nation’s veterans deserve access to timely care through @DeptVetAffairs. Families like Michael’s should not have to wait for the services they need due to bureaucratic delays.

[americanpotential @AMPotentialPod]

In this episode of American Potential, host @davidfrom sits down with @USMC veteran Adam Jahnke, Strategic Director for @ConcernedVets in South Carolina, to discuss the Taking Care of American Veterans Act and what it could mean for veterans and their families.

Adam breaks down several major reforms included in the legislation, including the Major Richard Star Act, which would address retirement benefits for combat-wounded veterans; the Veterans Access Act, which would expand veterans’ ability to choose health care providers outside the VA; and the Love Lives On Act, which would protect benefits for surviving military spouses who choose to remarry.

Drawing from his own experience as a Purple Heart recipient and former VA clinical social worker, Adam also discusses the problems veterans continue to face navigating the VA system and why greater choice could lead to better health outcomes.

The conversation also tackles one of the biggest debates surrounding the legislation: how to deliver meaningful new benefits and health care reforms while being responsible with taxpayer dollars. Adam explains why he believes modernizing the VA system and prioritizing resources for critically injured veterans and their families can accomplish both.

“You see this inherent politicization of the court, and there have been attempts over the years to right size that,”

Happy Election Day, Kansas! Today YOU get to choose to right size your highest court! Vote YES today, August 4th!

“Here is the bind: Our justices face retention votes that generate almost no information, while the lawyers who could supply it fear speaking up. Voters cannot evaluate what they cannot learn.“

[Derek Schmidt @DerekSchmidtKS]

It has been brought to my attention that a dishonest, deceptively clipped video has been making the rounds on social media from a left-wing group claiming I’m against the proposed state constitutional amendment on the August 4th ballot.

That is a lie.

I am voting YES, and I encourage everyone to do the same.

[Dan Hawkins @DanHawkinsKS]

A former Kansas Supreme Court research attorney offers a peek behind the curtain on how the supposed “merit based” system currently works and why she's voting YES on the August 4 constitutional amendment. #ksleg

In her experience, Kansas' current judicial selection system isn't free from politics at all. Instead, a small group of attorneys and well-connected law firms wield outsized influence over and campaign for who advances to our state's highest court, while everyday Kansans are left on the sidelines.

It’s time to put the control back in the hands of the people and stop the whisper campaigns and insider deals to elevate favored candidates behind closed doors. Kansans deserve transparency in choosing who will serve on our Supreme Court. On August 4, we have the opportunity to restore our voice. Join me in voting YES!

[Rep. Blake Carpenter @Carpenter4KS]

They call it “merit selection.” The data says otherwise.

Current Supreme Court Nominating Commission members’ political donations: 81% to Democrats, 19% to Republicans.

That’s not merit. That’s a pipeline.

Vote YES — give the power back to the people who actually vote. #ksleg

“Hopefully every single voter can see that that’s not a partisan issue; it’s something that every Kansan should want.”
