Absolutely delighted my KR Models Hunslet BO-BO is now finally added to my collection of Scunthorpe steelworks models of Janus and Di8. Looking forward to those torpedoes arriving.

Yesterday our Chair & diesel co visited the Tanfield Railway to see loco 54, having a holiday in the countryside at The legends of industry. it was strange to see 54 in a rural location.
And we had to find the frames the lysaghts Rsh that once was enjoyed by so many children.

Another step towards 58s(aka 402) full return. She is currently undergoing trials, and has now had the signwriting completed, and awaits her 402 plates arriving.

Postcards! For the first time in Many years. We have created a series of postcards with the help of members, to sell in our shop during tours.
This will continue to aid us in the repair of rolling stock and continue our rail tours.
Pacer 144017 ran her last night tour for the year. And after driver experiences tomorrow she will be out of service for overhaul. She's been a sterling performer since she arrived but now she needs some care and attention. If you would like to join us in scunthorpe get in touch
We recently took a tour around the Scunthorpe site on a diesel pacer with the Appleby Frodingham Railway.
This night tour gave a completely different view of the site as you can see in this video clip taken from the front seat. ๐๐
