London Celebrates Diwali at Trafalgar Square!
Trafalgar Square came alive today as London hosted its main public Diwali celebration, drawing tens of thousands of people to mark the Festival of Lights. Presented by the Mayor of London in partnership with the Diwali in London Committee—chaired by Chinmaya Mission UK and comprising several Hindu, Sikh, and Jain dharmic organisations including Art of Living, BAPS Swaminarayan Neasden Mandir, Brahma Kumaris, ISKCON, Metropolitan Police Hindu Association, NHSF, OneJain, Sai School of Harrow, Telugu Association of London, World Council of Hindu Temples, and Ilford Hindu Centre—the event reflected the unity and diversity of London’s faith communities.
The main stage featured a vibrant line-up of performances ranging from energetic Garba and devotional bhajans to a traditional Aarti ceremony. Across the square, visitors engaged in yoga and meditation sessions, Bharatanatyam workshops, sari and turban tying experiences, children’s activities, puppet shows, and cultural exhibits showcasing the rich traditions and meaning of Diwali.

Congratulations to @cpsavesoil Sahil Jha, who addressed the Cabinet meeting @sgloscouncil on 06th October 2025 about the importance of Soil, making an important policy recommendation to measure organic content of local soils in SW in an on-going manner & to promote Soil health.
🌱The Soil Monitoring Law is currently moving through the EU legislative process.
Votes happening in Sept & Nov will be crucial to make the EU's first ever law on soil health a reality.

@UN Indian Officials stress this was retaliation for terrorism. In response while India is fighting for its daughters, Pakistan is fighting for UN-proscribed terrorists.
#PakistanBehindPahalgam#OperationSindhoor
India recently hit back with precision. In Operation Sindoor, Indian forces struck nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. These were UN proscribed LeT/JeM terrorist bases, no civilians, no sacred sites, or military installations were harmed.

I am embarking on a solo round the globe 🌏 journey on a bicycle to inspire people to speak for saving soil.
Starting tomorrow on March 21st
📍Bundaberg, QLD, Australia
According to a report from @FAO 90% of our world’s agricultural soil will be degraded in the next 25 years and it is also expected that we’ll be producing 40% less FOOD for 9.7 billion people in 2050. This means real danger and people have absolutely no idea about it and to prevent this from happening we need sustainable agricultural practices and concrete laws and policies in each and every nation to protect our soil from turning into desert.
I am risking my life and will be going through many challenging times, pains, inhumane efforts to make this journey possible and create the fire of inspiration into millions and billions of people across the planet to turn back from the verge of desertification. Let’s make it happen, Save Soil

Another historic moment for the Hindu American community as Kashyap “Kash” Patel assumes charge of the @FBI taking his oath from @AGPamBondi on the Bhagavad Gita—among Hindu Dharma’s most sacred texts.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Mazargues War Cemetery in Marseille, France, to pay tribute to Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during the World Wars.
The Mazargues War Cemetery has great historical significance for India owing to the fact that it honours about 10,000 of the 100,000 Indian men who fought in both World Wars.
Modi and Macron laid wreaths at the cemetery, honoring the sacrifices of these soldiers who fought for France.
This event underscores the historical military cooperation between India and France, highlighting the contributions of Indian soldiers in the global conflicts.
Notably around 1.5 million Indian soldiers served in the British Army during WWI.

How come I am the only journalist in the whole of the UK to have covered this debate? Were the debate on India, it would be absolutely everywhere...... This was a debate about deteriorating freedom of religion in Pakistan. It was about attacks on Hindus, Christians and Ahmadi Muslims as well as Shia Muslims in Pakistan. It was about girls in Pakistan being abducted, forced to marry their captors and the state turning a blind eye. It was about the fact that UK gives lots and lots of aid to Pakistan. It was about their school textbooks indoctrinating young people. Not one other journalist has covered it. The debate took place in House of Commons main chamber. It wasn't in a side room, or committee room. It was a debate by British MPs.
#SaveSoil is glad to sign an MoU with the Government of Uzbekistan towards soil revitalization. Uzbekistan can set an example for the rest of Central Asia by demonstrating that soil can be significantly transformed with commitment and resolute action. -Sg
