A humanoid watched one video of a person playing cornhole, built its own simulator, practiced in it, then sank 7 shots in a row in real life.
Google DeepMind's Gemini 4 Argon did it on Apptronik's Apollo: learn in its own mind first, then do it for real.
My read: BOSS Zhipin has 70M monthly users and sees what jobs involve. Now it's giving away a model built to do them.
For my one-agent-per-job setup, a free model on hardware you own is the cheap base layer. Frontier models stay for the hard calls.

The company behind China's biggest hiring app just gave away an AI built to do jobs. $BZ
It's free, a 4-bit copy fits on one gaming GPU, and in a test where it ran a simulated startup for a year, it turned $200K into $1.03M.
What it doesn't prove:
• All scores are self-reported so far
• Qwen still wins SWE-Bench Pro and GDPval
• The startup run is simulated, and the public leaderboard's top is $2.87M (Claude Opus 5.5) on different settings
• On a 24GB card you get short context, not 512K
Here's a great new use for Dot that nobody's talking about.
I'm building a space camp game with a bunch of Codex projects running at once. Unreal Engine needed an update, and so did several of the MCP tools that help the build.
Normally that means stopping, waiting, and timing every install myself.
Instead, I told Dot, ChatGPT's agent, to coordinate with my Codex projects and install every recommended update.
It's handling the whole thing while I keep building.
Dot isn't just for errands. It can run your whole dev setup.

I already run a voice agent on my own number. It answers, patches callers through to me and leaves voicemails.
What native adds: it waits on hold, works phone menus, shows a live transcript, and already knows my calendar and accounts.
My plan: voice agent for incoming, Grok Bot for outgoing.
Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
Why SpaceX still gets funded: investment grade, plus Starlink and launch cash.
$40B is about what it spent on AI capex in 9 months: $40.0B through Q3.
My read: AI compute is now a cost-of-capital game. Cheapest money wins. That's a warning for $CRWV and $NBIS.
JUST IN: SpaceX closed $40B of debt to buy GPUs, and Elon says lenders have shut the door on almost every other AI cloud. $SPCX
• Debt markets "almost entirely shut off" for firms without revenue outside AI data centers
• His call on 200+ neoclouds: "guppy-level death"
@omarsar0 Underrated finding: when a task can be solved from context or from labels memorized in the weights, looped and grown models keep using context. That's what you want in agents. Follow the playbook in the prompt, not stale priors. More depth from reused layers, and more steerable.
My read: I run one dedicated agent per job: a chief of staff, a property bot, a research bot. Each one just got a phone.
On Oct 12 I counted 16.3M US jobs built on calls: https://t.co/hnUnM5XJag

Grok @Bot can now call someone or a business for you, make a request on your behalf, take notes on the response and send you a note summarizing the conversation!
Your AI agent can now pick up the phone for you.
Elon says Grok Bot can call a person or business, make your request, take notes on the answer, and send you a summary.
Every errand that used to die at "call this number" just became something you can hand off.
What we don't know yet:
• The official changelog still stops at v0.75.5 (Oct 23), so expect a gradual rollout
• No word on pricing, call limits or countries
• Which number it calls from
• How businesses respond when a bot asks about your account
@theo Best part: it bans anything "intended for AI (such as MCPs)." MCP is an open standard now governed by the Linux Foundation. So r/opensource just banned a Linux Foundation project. And "if it's obvious you used AI" only filters out the people honest enough to say so.
@StockSavvyShay Duke's Nicholas Institute found the U.S. grid can absorb ~76 GW of new load if data centers flex just 0.25% of hours a year. That's basically this whole shortfall.
With turbines sold out, onsite batteries like Tesla Megapack may be the fastest unlock.
