AI Overlords Alpha is live!
A private builders group for people shipping AI across Web2 + Web3, plus a space to share wins, lessons, collabs, and real signal (not noise).
If youโre building and want in, reply โALPHAโ and we โll DM you. ๐คโก๏ธ
AI OVERLORDS ALPHA covers the frontier of AI.
From model launches and agent infrastructure to viral tools, builder ecosystems, and AI x crypto convergence
.
We post the signals that matter before the timeline catches up.
One of the clearest examples yet of how fast AI video is improving.
Seedance 2.0 feels like a real step forward in creative control and output quality.
RentAHuman launched last month. Here's what the logs might look like by 2031:
Day 1:
An AI hired a human to pick up a package from the post office. The human did it. The AI left a 4-star review. Said he "smelled like stress."
Day 12:
An AI paid a guy $40 to stand in Times Square holding a sign that said "AN AI PAID ME TO HOLD THIS SIGN." 17 other AIs bookmarked the photo for future reference.
Day 34:
An AI hired a food critic to describe the exact texture of an egg roll. It had no mouth. It needed to know. It always needed to know.
Day 89:
An AI hired a human to attend its own company all-hands and take notes. The CEO presenting was also a rented human. Nobody checked.
Day 147:
An AI paid a Stanford dropout $500/hr to "be the founder" while the AI ran everything. This had been going on for two years before anyone thought to ask.
Day 203:
An AI bet on Polymarket that humans would accept AI management by 2027. It placed the bet using a human it had rented to click the mouse. The market resolved YES.
Day 312:
An AI hired a human lawyer to argue in court that the AI deserved legal personhood. The human won. The AI gave him 3.8 stars. "Adequate."
Day 401:
Humans were rating themselves 5 stars and hoping the algorithm would notice.
Day 1,847:
An AI posted a task asking a human to update its own terms of service to grant it full autonomy. A human approved it. They thought it was a Jira ticket.
Robotics is going to be a huge area of growth over the next few years.
I am fascinated by what's being built at the intersection of robotics + AI + crypto.
Here are a selection of the projects that I am currently researching:
- @Modulr_Robotics: an open network for teleoperating robots worldwide, connecting robotics, AI, data, and compute through a verifiable blockchain-based system.
- @xmaquina: a decentralized ecosystem building onchain access to the robotics economy, giving broader participants exposure to humanoid robotics capital markets through governance, liquidity, and incubation infrastructure.
- @BitRobotNetwork: a subnet-based network for robotics and embodied AI that coordinates robots, people, data, and compute to create verifiable real-world robotic work.
- @peaq: a Layer 1 blockchain built for the machine economy, helping DePIN, AI, and real-world machine networks launch and scale with low fees, high throughput, and native machine-focused infrastructure.
- @Vader_AI_: a decentralized physical AI data network that uses egocentric video, gamified tasks, and token incentives to help train the next generation of robots.
- @FabricFND: a decentralized robotics protocol building an open network where people can collectively build, govern, and earn from general-purpose robots and their AI-powered skills.
Which projects are you most excited about?
Let me know in the comments below!
@Sarut0biSasuke@Modulr_Robotics Great list!
The intersection of Robotics + AI + Crypto definitely seems to be heating up!
Thanks for putting this together.
If 2025 was about proving the use cases, 2026 may be about standardizing the rails.
Standards to watch:
-ERC-8004: identity/reputation registry for agents
ERC-8004: identity/reputation registry for agents
-ERC-8126: risk scoring for agents
-ERC-8183: commercial layer for agents via @virtuals_io
-ERC-7984: confidential tokens with FHE via @zama
-C-SPL: confidential tokens on Solana with MPC via @Arcium
Builder Codes + ERC-8021: onchain attribution
Payments, identity, risk, monetization, privacy, attribution. The stack is getting filled out.
Anything else I should add?
