🇮🇳 Advancing together towards a self-reliant defence ecosystem.

🔹In line with the Government’s vision of achieving Aatmanirbharta and Viksit Bharat, DRDO conducted an Industry Outreach Programme at DRDO Bhawan, New Delhi on 01 December 2025. The programme connected DRDO laboratories of North India with their industry partners and saw participation from 220 scientists working on niche defence technologies from 18 DRDO labs, alongside 271 industry leaders from a diverse mix of defence companies.

🔹Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman DRDO, Dr Samir V. Kamat graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Secretary (Defence Production) Shri Sanjeev Kumar attended as the Guest of Honour.

🔹On this occasion, a new procedure for implementing ‘DRDO’s ToT Policy – 2025’ was released. An open house session was also organised where the dignitaries and a panel of DRDO experts, along with Secretary (DP), addressed queries and suggestions from industry to strengthen collaboration and resolve key challenges in indigenous defence production across both DPSUs and private sector.
