Dites-moi un peu : certes, le lingala est l’une des plus belles langues au monde, mais si nous devions promouvoir une langue nationale dans l’administration au même titre que le français, je choisirais le swahili.
Pour deux raisons simples :
• Géographiquement, le swahili est parlé dans une grande partie de la RDC et sert déjà de langue de communication dans plusieurs provinces.
• Sur le plan africain, le swahili bénéficie d’un positionnement stratégique. Il est parlé dans plusieurs pays d’Afrique de l’Est notamment en Tanzanie, au Kenya, en Ouganda, au Rwanda, au Burundi et dans certaines zones du Mozambique. C’est même l’une des langues de travail de l’Union africaine et son influence ne cesse de croître sur le continent.
