Dear James Dolan,

There has to be a better way to sell tickets to these MSG watch parties.

The $10 price point just makes it easier for bots and scalpers to scoop them up, while screwing over real fans.

By the time the Knicks app sent out a push notification at 11:15, everything was already sold out.

Also, I can confirm that people who joined the waiting room before 11am were given a number in the queue that exceeded the number of seats at the Garden! They showed up early, and still never had a chance.

I was only able to get my tickets because I was constantly hitting refresh on Ticketmaster for two hours. I shouldn’t be rewarded for that!

My advice: sell these for $99 each, and include a $50 food/drink voucher. That way you are raising the cost on the bad faith actors who don’t actually plan to attend, while giving the money back to real fans.
