Really enjoying working on this project! 🌿🌸

[Edinburgh Outdoors @EdinOutdoors]

Check out the before and after of our wildflower meadow at Leith Links! 🌸

The meadow was planted by pupils from two local primary schools as the first 'Wilding Wee Space' in Edinburgh, and is part of the Edinburgh Nature Network 🐝

Thanks to @greenspacescot for the funding 🌿

[Sophie Corrigan @SeaweedSoph]

Seaweed farms are expanding globally & offer a potentially sustainable food source 🍜👩‍🌾

But what are the environmental impacts?

My PhD assesses how UK farms impact biodiversity & may provide new 🏡 to fish & invert species 🦀🐟

[Forth Seabird Group @ForthSeabirds]

#FSG annual count of the inner and outer Forth islands completed. Lucky with weather. Figures now being collated. Huge thanks to all our volunteers and to boat operators who go out there way to help @smp_seabirds @JNCC_UK @BTO_Scotland

Great to be back out again this year with @ForthSeabirds carrying out surveys on Inchkeith 🌊🪶⛴️🔭

A beautiful snowy hike up Morrone by Braemar recently❄️🏔️

Nothing like a weekend in the Cairngorms, topped off by an eagle sighting 🦅 plus dippers, stags and red squirrels 🦌🐿️

[Pete Cooper @PeteMRCooper]

That smug feeling of advanced plans that luckily fall on the only day of good weather in the week. Catching up with @AKHoadley for first time in 3 years at @RSPBMinsmere, bitterns and goldeneyes appearing on cue.

Fun fact; the latter is the only bird named after a Bond film.
