And with this being known, some will still struggle to suppress the ego & make a wise decision. But hey, it’ll be someone else’s fault when “it” doesn’t go their way.
It's that time of year...A lot (more than people realize) of D1 players will get "the talk". They will be told...if they want to "play" they need to leave. A lot of those will be told to go juco and told they will be brought back next year (big lie). Some of these kids are on their 2nd and 3rd school in 2 or 3 years, and project to be extra's this year...they're usually the kids that have been misled to believe they're grossly better than they are. They belonged in Juco out of HS and simply didn't want to believe it.
For the kids that know they're way behind, that have juco eligibility left, go juco. GO PLAY! Don't spend another year on the bench. In today's transfer portal environment, spending 2 or 3 years on the bench, when a kid could be "playing" elsewhere is insanity if the kid WANTS to actually PLAY in the games.

There’s an 83 year old retired marine at my gym named Steve. He’s in visibly better shape than most of the guys I went to high school with (I’m 36). Lean, physically spry and mentally sharp. He lifts weights 3-5 times per week.
I asked him what advice he’d give to young people lifting weights. He said “just start and then never stop”
This is your retirement & insurance plan.
Muscle mass decreases approximately 3-8% per decade after the age of 30 and this rate of decline is even higher after the age of 60.
Studies show that an 80 year old who lifts weights regularly is as strong as a 30 year old who doesn’t.
I’dd rather be the oldest person in the gym than the youngest person in the nursing home.
Stare lifting weights so you can reap the rewards now and later on.
