On Friday night, July 19th, a group of men identifying themselves as police officers apprehended Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the ongoing student protest, from his friend's residence. They forcibly placed him into a vehicle belonging to the police or Border Guard Bangladesh.
Blindfolded and handcuffed, Nahid was taken to an undisclosed location and interrogated. The attached photograph illustrates the brutal methods used during his interrogation, which I have purposely blurred.
Nahid was left unconscious on the streets on Sunday morning, July 21st. After regaining some consciousness, he rented a three-wheeler to reach home before being hospitalized.
His ordeal continued at the hospital. When journalists visited him for interviews, authorities pressured him to leave, citing safety concerns. “The hospital canceled my admission,” he said, noting that he had to seek treatment under unsafe conditions.
I hope this helps you understand the state of affairs in Bangladesh.
BA 6047 Lieutenant Colonel Redwanul Islam was seen shooting at the student protestors yesterday. Redwanul, who served at @UNPeacekeeping a few years ago, also served with the @USTreasury sanctioned Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and the Special Security Force (SSF) of Bangladesh. In the footage, BA 6047 Redwanul was captured shooting at unarmed civilians, which is a clear violation of the rules of engagement.

In the video footage, you can see submachine guns being directly fired at the protesters by Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Redwanul Islam, an officer of the military deputed to BGB, from the 13 Bengal Regiment, who has also worked with RAB and the Special Security Force. He will be put on trial for committing genocide once fascist Hasina is ousted from power.

While you were having a coffee this morning and enjoying the day, this is what the Zionists did in Rafah.
Most of us support this indirectly through the taxes we pay and the support of our governments and by purchasing products from Multinational corporations that support this genocidal regime.
If you don't oppose this shit you might be part of the problem.
At some point too much silence becomes complicity.
