After 6 amazing years @DeptofPhysics, next week I start as Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry @OxfordChemistry and Tutorial Fellow @LincolnAlumni. I'm sad to leave so many wonderful colleagues in Cambridge, but I'm really excited to start this new adventure with my group!
This is also a great moment to say thank you to the many people who have supported me along the way and who I couldn’t have done this without. Particularly big shout outs here to @KeyserLab, @nikkiweckman & @mchugh_jeff
Extremely happy and very grateful to @ERC_Research for the award of an #ERCStG to support our work investigating the origins of noise and fluctuations in soft matter systems. What an amazing way to start a year of exciting new experiments @DeptofPhysics!
🎉ERC Starting Grant competition results are out!

Very happy that our work exploring polymer adsorption in nanopores has now appeared in PRL! The product of an amazing collaboration including @nikkiweckman and @KeyserLab at @DeptofPhysics#NotJustNoise https://t.co/CqZttIdtwH
Absolutely delighted to have been awarded a @royalsociety URF @DeptofPhysics to explore some really exciting soft matter systems. Thanks to everyone who has supported me to get here!
The Royal Society is pleased to announce the 37 University Research Fellows for 2021. From icy comets to plant RNA, these researchers will be working on research projects spanning the sciences at institutions across the UK and Ireland. Find out more: https://t.co/zll9Hy0bKq
Exciting news! Our work on detecting molecular intermediates from first passage times @KeyserLab with amazing collaborators @bayley_lab, Ritort group @UniBarcelona and Anatoly Kolomeisky @RiceUniversity has just been published in @ScienceAdvances! https://t.co/syO9Bg48wi
Stuart studied the properties of glass nanopores as components in ionic circuits, showing that while net conduction is bulk dominated, noise is surface dominated. Great work! @DeptofPhysics@Cambridge_Uni
