I think about six months after it becomes safe to go out in the world again, I'm going to travel to Iceland. Somewhere nice and remote, with a good view of the sky. Then I'm going to let myself process the events of 2020, and then I'm going to scream for 36 uninterrupted hours -R
This week, my mum brought up some things she had been hoping to accomplish over the summer, but was stymied by the Backstreet Boys ReunionTour. We discussed ways that some of these tasks might be accomplished through the use of new technologies.

@JamieKwan6 @YEPeducation I'm seeing some distinctly New England-y names there. Does this game have themes of Lovecraftian Horror, by any chance? @YEPeducation#letsteachadults
@maria28mca @YEPeducation With the increasing specialization between iOS and iPadOS, it's good to see lessons about transferring skills from one to the other. @YEPeducation#letsteachadults
This week, we're figuring out how to record a video of e-learning sessions. I've tried this before as a student, so it will be interesting to see the Teacher's side of the platform.

@dorian_teach@YEPeducation It's interesting to see how the teacher's perception of which lessons were most successful do not necessarily line up with a student's perceptions. It's good to have that perspective. #LetsTeachAdults@YEPEducation
@powell_rodrick It's important to be responsive to different learning styles. Sometimes that means observing your students, and sometimes that just means asking. #LetsTeachAdults@YEPEducation
listen I'm not SAYING this was written by a brain parasite puppeting a hapless journalist or anything but it DOES sound like something a brain parasite WOULD write -R
This week, we went over different ways to save and organize images from the internet. Sometimes there's multiple different ways to accomplish the same goal, and it's important to be able to identify the most appropriate one. #LetsTeachAdults@YEPEducation
Remote controls are scary at the best of times (I still have flashbacks from my time from working at a cable company), so it's great to have a patient and understanding teacher to explain the connection process. @YEPeducation#letsteachadults
After reviewing our lesson from last week, we learned to connect our laptops to our TV today πΊ! We took some time learning new terminology before diving into the lesson. #LetsTeachAdults@YEPeducation
Excellent choice. Privacy settings can seem daunting (sometimes by design), and it must be reassuring to have a more familiar person walk you through the process. @YEPeducation#letsteachadults
today's lesson was about the facebook app, my mom is kind of familiar with facebook but she wants to learn more. she learned how to add, delate, and block friends. also, to post share and tag people, and she learned more about the settings and privacy. #LetsTeachAdults
