@Thegr8biggsby@b_co_co I have two $10k cars in my driveway right now. Both run perfectly. Been driven across the country and all over. No serious issues. And one of them is the most "image" car I've ever owned. Still turns more heads than most $50k+ options.
@DrInsensitive There it is. Another defending child sacrifice.
"We should over our children's lives to god so we will have a bountiful harvest"
"We should sacrifice some children so we will have more food for others"
🤮
Forcing people to carry babies with genetic abnormalities to term, and then to care for them with little assistance for the rest of their lives, will only discourage people from having kids.
This guy made the right choice for his family, and that choice will lead to other kids.
@kevbacun@TheJimbo64@KristySellsLV@CpaxirsKen Some jurisdictions have minimum of 1500 sq ft and higher. Maybe educate yourself.
Consider Woolsey Georgia's 2400 sq ft minimum.

@TheJimbo64@KristySellsLV@CpaxirsKen That depends on where. Many jurisdictions have minimum home sizes. This is why is very hard to have a tiny home.
Municipality restrictions on what you can build are your land are out of hand.
@BowieFan2024@bishara No one pumped gas or ran the register at a gas station and supported a family of five.
I think people are thinking more of when we had service stations that do a lot more than fill your tank.
This is when a master mechanic worked at the station.
@igameorsm@313_chalk@ManchMayor@ronrule Ask all the people that buy homes in Chicago, DC, LA or any other major city.
Maybe because it's cheaper than Compton Hills and more jobs than Decatur.
@GuyTalksFinance Had they invested that in an s&p index (assuming 20% and 7.8% fixed rate morgage) they would have a networth of 3.8 million.
They did not live for free. They spent $400K and lost out on $3.4 million ingrowth.
So it cost them $2.8 million to live there (plus tax and fees).
@apollonia_nova@kayanakakehna@MohitShah028 The reason some mother's lose hair. Teeth or have nutritional deficiencies is a matter of intake. The child is not growing at the expense of the mother.
If a parent doesn't have enough food to feed themselves and their child they have to make sacrifices. That's how duty works.
@aNHsnowbird@ManchMayor@ronrule There are NH homes closer to larger cities for 100k and less as well but I'm sure if I posted them I'd hear some crap about their size, condition or being manufactured/mobile homes.
People today just want a lot more than what they had in the '50s. That comes at a price.
@ManchMayor@ronrule Just look around a little more. I wasn't even trying and found all of these. There are thousands of these around the country. Even in NH and CA.
@jimbohuff@jakozloski Men will marry down in attractiveness as well and let's be honest very few women are easy to get along with and often settle for more drama than they should.
@kayanakakehna@MohitShah028 In pregnancy is someone trying to take your uterus from you?
You are comparing bodily integrity (taking part of the body) to bodily autonomy (using the body).
Duty often overrides autonomy, such as in the cases of child support and gestation given here.
@kayanakakehna Bodily integrity can not be superseded, but bodily autonomy can.
Taking one's organs is s matter of bodily integrity. Pregnancy is not.
Bodily autonomy is often over ridden by duty. This is where you have a duty to use your body for others. Child support is one such case.
@JMSMagnets@HollyCabot Too late for me. I built a career in tech and didn't Understand finance until it was too late to retire at 40. But I could retire now after about 10 years of investing. But I'm also building other income streams.
Ill come back in a few years after my kids retire at 40.
@anthonyrappa4@PensareBBall Compared to the toilet bowl that is the LA basin, Rollingwood is fucking dream.
Be willing to consider more than a couple hours from the left coast and living gets a lot cheaper.
