🎨 The @RSNA is again conducting "The Art of Imaging Art Contest", and top picks will be displayed at #RSNA25. I was fortunate to have two of my artworks accepted last year, and the technology has advanced significantly since then; I even had the opportunity to use Nano Banana for one of the pieces before its source was revealed. 😉
🗳️ Vote for your favorite art entry by September 18th! Note, you can only vote once every 24 hours.
👨🎨 Visit the #RSNAContest webpage, view all the submitted artwork, and cast your vote!
🔗 Direct links to each of my artworks are in this thread. 🧵👇

Bit of a game changer for the radiology of incidental adrenal lesions.
Fairly compelling argument for (1) doing away with washout CT (2) calling <4cm 10-20HU lesions benign
My life may just be about to become a little easier

Is your ability to remember temporal lobe anatomy temporary?
Centrally in the temporal lobe is the old allocortex (hippocampus, etc) that is preserved going back to rats
Laterally is the neocortex involved in the newer higher functions of the temporal lobe in humans
--Oldest part is the hippocampus. Remember Hippies are old!
-- Next to the hippocampus is the parahippocampal gyrus.
Remember older folks love to go in pairs. So this is the PAIR-ahippocampal gyrus—it pairs w/the old hippocampus
-- Next to the parahippocampal gyrus is the fusiform gyrus.
Fusiform gyurs bridges (some might say FUSES) the older part of the temporal lobe w/newer, neocortical structures
Lateral temporal cortex looks like a parfait with fruit on top!
--Heschl’s transverse gyrus forms the strawberry on tops.
Remember Heschl sounds like bushel—and bushels are full of fruit
Heschl is the fruit on top!!
--Parfait layers are the superior, middle, and inferior temporal gyrus
Hopefully, now your understanding of this anatomy is, as the French would say, parfait!!
BREAKING!!! - 11:18PM UK time; I am with the flotilla online. They have just been reached by the Israel speedboats - 5 vessels circling the flotilla. The captain is instructing the team to stay calm and seated, with their passports and life jackets on. I hear them speaking with Israeli soldiers as I type... telling they are carrying humanitarian aid and go in peace. For the time being they are just circled. I am with them, recording everything.
