The slow death of hockey continues but as part of a grander scale anything that can be enjoyed by lower income people is stripped away from them. It's all pay walled now. Everything is pay walled now.
To young folks on the right:
Hitler was the bad guy. He was evil.
Your grandpa / great grandpa who fought Hitler was one of the good guys.
It’s not complicated.
Anyone who tells you it’s complicated is lying to you.
Just got an Amazon ad about how legislation requiring them to actually hire their workers instead of merely “contracting” them is actually evil and will ruin same-day delivery https://t.co/9OYNkfwFGA
I see some of my Conservative friends are trying to make this empty potash threat about Canada’s industrial carbon tax, rather than about the President trolling Canada.🤦♂️
It’s just embarrassing.
I’m not a fan of that tax, but it is perfectly irrelevant to what’s going on here.
85% of US potash imports come from Canada *despite* the industrial carbon tax, because Canada is the lowest cost, most proximate, and most reliable supplier!
US buyers would rather deal with our great producers, some of whom are vertically integrated through the whole US ag supply chain, than a distant tin pot dictatorship which has no potash available for sale!
Skill testing question: would a farmer from North Dakota rather buy potash / fertilizer coming off a one hour rail shipment from friendly, reliable Saskatchewan right next door; or would he rather pay to transport it to Russian Baltic ports, then across the Atlantic, and then inland across North America?
And that assumes Belorus has available supply, which it doesn’t!
Even the dictator Lukashenko has called out the absurdity of today’s latest threat from the President. So why can’t the @CPC_HQ?
To fellow Conservatives: why is it so difficult for you to call this for what it is? A ridiculous, empty threat by the President to continue his well established strategy of trying to divide and demoralize Canadians in the context of trade negotiations.
Harrison Ford is so real for this 😂
Josh Horowitz: How easily can you silence the part of your brain that says "I look like an idiot when I'm playing a Red Hulk?"
Harrison Ford: I don't want to break your bubble, but that's what the money is for.
Josh Horowitz: To silence that part of your brain?
Harrison Ford: Gone. Gone.
Josh Horowitz: It's like magic.
Harrison Ford: It's not magic. It's commerce.
