Someone I know (TVK supporter. Ex-ADMK) recently asked me why I am still with DMK even though - his words - "they are never going to win against our Talcbaby actor". I told him I don't care - not "we will win again" - but I don't care.

I realised that I truly don't care if DMK wins another election or not. Yes, I am still grieving for this defeat. I mean when @arivalayam wins, I will be happy that my state and my kid's future will be in good hands in governance. But even if we don't win, I will be content to be with DMK's ideologies and follow the ideals of our leaders. DMK is first an ideological party before it's a political party. Most of us here will choose ideology even if it means defeat in election.

The more I read about Dravidian ideology, the anger I feel in my soul when I see inequality and injustice in this society, the happiness I see when one child gets ahead in life due to the welfare rights introduced by DMK right from the days of Justice Party - the more I know I am in the right place. And I will try my best to bring up my kids' in that ideology when their peers are running after an actor.

I am okay to be in the losing side when the losing side has written the most equitable and just pages in Tamilnadu and has written a new, better history for so many underprivileged families including mine.

That said, we will surely come back, again 🖤❤️

While rumours of DMK @arivalayam supporting the delimitation bill are flying high, ex DMK minister Mano Thangaraj @Manothangaraj makes an interesting observation.

In the last Modi govt term of 2019–24, the House sat for only 1,370 hours. That means an average of 274 hours per year. If the number of members is raised to 850, each member will get 19 minutes to speak in a year. Over 5 years, the total will be just 96 minutes.
To speak for a mere 96 minutes in 5 years, what’s the cost for one MP’s constituency?
Election Commission: Rs 9 crore
Candidate’s permissible election expenditure: Rs 95 lakh
That takes the total to Rs 10 crore.
In addition, the annual cost of running Parliament is Rs 1,600 crore.

Parandur Airport project had a HSR stop, along with an aero city connected to a logistics park. It was a dream project for Chennai to become the automobile hub of South Asia.

People with vested interests in TVK and against TN development (Reddy lobby, BJP lobby etc) conspired to cancel the project.

As a result of that, TN is already down on investments in last quarter. 77% drop is no joke.

Just to satisfy the PR promises made by one man and his ego, TN development has already gone down.
