@Christy_pritch That’s an absolute joke. Squeezing everything they can out of the working class. Sick to death of these scoundrels thinking they can just take, take, take.
For anyone wondering why we are striking. This statement is the truth. The government are holding back negotiations, therefore it’s them causing the public this disruption by refusing to negotiate a package suitable for #RMT members.
@sallycordwell Right back at you Sal- I’ve thought lots about how you could possibly be managing 💪🏾💪🏾 💪🏾. But yes, poetic licence combined with rose tinted glasses helps now. I’d love to go punting with some white wine down the river with you again 💓

Had a great time today @BIFoRUoB listening to some fabulous talks from some fabulous people! 🌳👨🔬🔬👩🔬🌳
Especially @griffiths_ar talking about a potential new form of #oakdecline#BIFoRCom20
@_niahjones I guess it depends on the degree and exam formats. Third year exams in Biomedical Science have to be answered in essay format. Articulating and communicating science at that level is difficult in any language, but if you want a first class degree you need to be excellent at it.
@_niahjones I was taught entirely through the medium of Welsh and I can definitely say that transitioning to English during my Biomedical Science degree was difficult. If you take all your science subjects in Welsh and then have to switch to English it is bound to put you at a disadvantage?
After reading about the 74k farmed fish that recently escaped in Scotland, I plotted the new data with previous escapes. Due to this one breach, 2020 has seen a larger no. of escapes than recent years. We're only a month in! Consequence of global warming induced extreme weather?
Congratulations to the awesome @Beth_Pettifor on the publication of her first manuscript. This work was conducted during her MScRes project and addresses an important question about the environmental reservoirs of bacteria associated with #acuteoakdecline
