The second scenario is less likely to be taken seriously than the first. If the first scenario were to occur yes that would be quite the problem for the majority of Christians, but the rest would call BS
Calling someone "broke" isn't much of an insult to a follower of Christ.
He taught that a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. His apostles left behind homes, businesses, and livelihoods to follow Him.
The world measures wealth by what it can accumulate. Christ measures wealth by what cannot be taken away.

@Jake_A_Reed@meCal3b Not in 2nd temple Judaism which was the Judaism of Jesus's day. They understood there were at least 2 powers of the Godhead and were binitarian, that's why they charged Jesus with blasphemy because of what He said here. Claiming to be YHVH
This world will be destroyed by 🔥 and God will make a new heaven and a new earth. Sin, suffering and death will be removed and we will be restored to God's intended design.
