“No one is forcing you to work at that job you hate.”
Rent is due, health insurance is tied to employment, groceries aren’t free. Utilities will get cut off, student loans don’t pause, and homelessness is one bad month away. Yeah, yeah. Totally voluntary.
Draymond Green:
“Shai, you've reached a new level of greatness my man... you got sports media coming out and talking about what they don't like about your greatness, as if SGA is running up and down the court with the whistle in his mouth calling a foul for himself... you all think the NBA is that easy to where this guy just flops and goes to the free throw line and he becomes the back to back MVP? We really gonna dumb the NBA down to that?”

“In NBA history, guards have averaged at least 30 points per game in a season while playing enough games to qualify for the scoring title on 48 occasions. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 9.0 free throws attempted per game this season ranks 32nd on that list.”

BREAKING: Maryland is about to become the first state in the nation to ban the use of surveillance data and dynamic pricing at grocery stores.
The Maryland House has just passed the Protection from Predatory Pricing Act.
Governor Wes Moore plans to sign the bill.
NEW: We talked to an NYC millionaire who wants Kathy Hochul to tax him more.
He said he "wouldn't even notice" a tax increase, especially since he already got a break in the Big Beautiful Bill.
Taxing the rich wouldn't change his life much—but it would help millions of people.
NEW: Sysco just announced a $29 billion deal to buy a huge competitor, Restaurant Depot.
Restaurant Depot is a lifeline for small restaurants and food trucks.
If it moves forward, the deal could leave consumers and restaurant owners with even fewer choices and higher prices.
🚨BREAKING: NYC Speaker Julie Menin wants to close the city’s $5.4 billion budget gap by “collecting” delinquent property taxes instead of taxing the ultra-wealthy.
What that actually means:
Selling the debts of Black and Latino homeowners to Wall Street investors — who charge fees, add penalties, and push families into foreclosure.
For 30 years this tax lien sale stripped generational wealth from Brooklyn and Queens.
Mayor Mamdani canceled it.
Menin wants it back.
The same Menin with a $22 million Hamptons mansion, an $8 million apartment, and access to private jets — much of it hidden through a spousal disclosure loophole.
She wants working-class homeowners to pay the gap.
Not the ultra-wealthy.
Not herself.
Them.
To be honest, a lot of "mental health issues" disappear when bills are paid, rent is secure, and the fridge is full. Peace is expensive.
And pretending money doesn't affect mental health is privilege.
Paulette Jordan just won the Democratic primary for governor in Idaho. Meaning, she's now positioned to become the first female governor of Idaho--and the first Native American governor in the US.
Maine is on the verge of becoming the first state in the country to pass a data center moratorium.
The bill, which just passed the Maine House, bans major data center construction until November 2027, in order to assess the impact on the environment and electricity prices.
"What if a drug addict used your tax dollars to get SNAP benefits?"
The government uses my tax dollars to bomb villages, arm warlords, fund coups, and trafficks children through proxy states. If a "junkie" eats because of me, that's the most moral thing my taxes have done.
Every dollar earned below $184,500 a year has a Social Security tax of 12.4%. Everything after that cap is exempt. If we lift this cap on the wealthiest earners, Social Security would be fully funded till 2070. The cap should not exist.
BREAKING: @AOC and @SenSanders are introducing a ban on AI data centers and other hyperscale data centers.
The ban would remain until Congress passes new AI legislation.
That legislation must ensure AI is safe, benefits workers, and doesn't raise electricity prices.
The Thunder hold an NBA-best 56-15 record while having had the second-most missed games due to injuries this season, trailing only the Memphis Grizzlies, per ESPN Research. Their lineup of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams, Lu Dort, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein has played just five games.
