Lots of questions about the Covid-19 vaccines -- here are some of the more common ones, with my answers. Directed at clinicians, but probably something here for all. Any that we missed?

@AdventHealth is incredibly blessed to have @amylcarr on our team and helping lead the fight against COVID! She’s an amazing asset to our institution! Well deserved recognition! #coronafighters#everydayhero
Please join us in celebrating @SIDPharm member @amylcarr for going above and beyond during the #COVID19 pandemic! Here’s a quick statement from one of her peers at @AdventHealth@asapatah that nominated her for the SIDP Member Spotlight! #IDTwitter
Great discussions yesterday at the @AdventHealth Research Conf! Our PGY1 Pharmacy Residents presented their great work in #infectiousdiseases. Moral of the story: reduce abx Rx on discharge! Who's got clever ways to manage this? #IDtwitter@SIDPharm@FSHPOfficial
In partnership with @my1blood, AdventHealth is among one of the first hospitals in the country to offer a cutting edge treatment for patients with severe cases of #COVID19 – the blood plasma of patients who’ve recovered from the disease. Learn more: https://t.co/TB4X3bNPfi
Our infectious diseases colleagues across @AdventHealthCFL are rising to the call of their profession and leading the way. Sincere thanks to our ID physicians, IPs, pharmacists, and microbiologists for their tireless efforts! #feelingwhole
To all of our team members, you continue to show up every day with uncommon compassion and an unwavering commitment to our patients and their families. We thank you for keeping our communities safe.
When Med Techs are on the bench testing for COVID19, lab assistants are moving all around the lab. These dedicated lab professionals make the workflow and organization of the testing process possible. A BIG THANKS without them by our side, my 24h work wouldn't be possible
Had a great site visit from the @CDCgov yesterday to expand access to patients with severe malaria. Glad @AdventHealthCFL has the opportunity to significantly decrease the time to deliver artesunate to those in urgent need! #feelingwhole#extendingthehealingministry

Last but most certainly not least, a huge thanks to @ASTPharmD, Dr. Herrera and @amylcarr for planning a wonderful symposium. Thanks to all who attended! 🦠
The controversy surrounding isolating patients with endemic MDROs (e.g. MRSA, VRE) continues. More hospitals discontinuing isolation on these patients with positive results... we’ll have to stay tuned for more data to help direct a definitive recommendation!
Our grand finale comes to us from Dr. Vincent Hsu, Hospital Epidemiologist and Executive Director of Infection Prevention for AdventHealth Orlando. When discussing placing patients on isolation, he states that how you do it is just as important as what you do.
Some unintended consequences of placing patients on isolation: depression, decreased time spent with healthcare workers, delays in care, and decreased patient satisfaction. Important to keep in mind as we care for these individuals!
