We have written to the Director of Public Prosecutions following the recent Elbit protest verdicts, in which a police officer was seriously injured.
Our duty is to speak up when outcomes risk impacting officer safety and future public order policing.

The IOPC's action to direct @metpoliceuk to bring gross misconduct proceedings against W80, even after being offered detailed evidence, was disgraceful, irrational and unfair.
The Government must urgently implement Accountability Review recommendations.

Fantastic evening at the #PoliceBravery awards in London last night. Great stories of brave dedicated officers from across the country. Lovely to spend the evening with Paddy & Emma too, a worthy nominee

Police officers are 21% worse off in real terms than we were in 2010. A third of officers struggle to afford food, rent or heating. 32 officers are violently assaulted every day. Without urgent action 10,000 officers could be lost every year https://t.co/y87UtYT5Rm #CoppedEnough
