A woman was seen sitting comfortably in a public train, eating peanuts and throwing the shells all over the floor without a second thought.
This is why cleanliness is not just an infrastructure problem, it is a civic sense problem.
The government can build Vande Bharat trains, bullet trains, and world-class stations. But no government can teach people to respect public spaces if they choose not to.
Many people receive taxpayer-funded benefits, whether it's ₹3,000 in financial assistance, free ration, subsidised services, or other welfare schemes. Yet some still fail to show the most basic respect for public property that taxpayers pay to build and maintain.
When a train is dirty, the Railways are blamed. But the litter on the floor wasn't dropped by the Railways, ppit was dropped by passengers.
Infrastructure can be funded by taxes. Civic responsibility cannot. Until people understand that public property belongs to everyone, no amount of development alone will make India truly world-class.
She is Dr Vatsala Agarwal.
In August last year, she was appointed Director General Health Services of Delhi. She wasted no time and immediately started buying medicines and equipments at highly inflated rates by allegedly manipulating the tender processes, misusing hundreds of crores in public funds. By the time the Delhi police arrested her today, she had already allegedly created a health scam worth 600 crores.
Almost everyone in govt service, from top to bottom, seems to make massive money whenever an opportunity arises. Imagine the scale of systemic corruption if a single official can siphon off 600 crore rupees in less than a year. And it's not like she was honest for her 30 years of service till now, and suddenly turned corrupt; she only got caught now. Her life long scam would be much more than 600 crores.
It is truly surprising that India continues to grow despite such staggering leaks in the system.
Case Today : He was a staunch believer of women's rights. Wrote about women's issues as a writer. Belonging from a traditional Indian family, opted for an arranged marriage. Did not take a penny in dowry as he was strongly against it
First day of his marriage & his wife told him she loves someone else and since her lover was from a different caste, her parents didn't allow her to marry him. She asked him for divorce. Taken aback, he tried to convince her to forget the past and move on. She vehemently denied.
He told her father. He refused to believe. Told him there is no way there will be a divorce. He accepted it as his fate and cohabited with his wife. She became abusive. First verbal abuse. Then physical abuse. Then complete mental torture daily. Her ex boyfriend would call and no one could say a word. She left when she wanted, came back when she wanted. No relationship with the husband whatsoever. He felt trapped but didn't know what to do
One day, she became so aggressive that she beat him up & his mother also black and blue. He has evidence of the assault. He decided to report it to police and went to police station.
His father-in-law begged him not to file an FIR & promised to resolve the matter and get them divorced. But months passed and still nothing happened and abuse of him and his elderly parents continued
Fed up, he filed for divorce. She immediately filed for maintenance. His advocate got sold to the other party and didn't turn up for arguments. Court passed order of 30,000 per month interim maintenance.
She also filed an FIR naming 15 family members in it, not leaving even his close friends, alleging dowry, domestic violence and what not. All cooked stories.
Police removed few names but case is running.
He paid maintenance for some time but then lost his job. Amount accumulated. She pressed for execution of maintenance. Mind it, she's an educated, learned and capable of working woman who chooses to do nothing. And if she's doing anything, she has hidden the same from the court.
So this man is jailed for a month for not paying maintenance. His parents, 75+ year old, sitting thousands of kilometres away know nothing about the torture their son is going through. His friends arrangepd the money somehow borrowing it from people and got him out from Jail after 20 days.
Now the money has accumulated again and he has sword of jail hanging on his head again. He hasn't been able to get a job because of the criminal case.
Demand of Alimony by woman started with 85 Lacs and has now reached 1 Crore. This middle class man can't gather that money even if he sells everything his parents also own. So he suffers.
It has been 3 years. Divorce hasn't moved an inch. 498A hasn't moved an inch. While the woman gets tax free income every month.
EQUALITY IN INDIA 🤡
Illegal blockades, threats of civil war, calls for foreign intervention - there will be reactions and consequences of every kind by Islamists and their cohorts, but Modi must not retreat. Uniform Civil Code has to be his enduring legacy.
Here I explain why the UCC is essential:
I am not sure how many of us have heard about Rai Bahadur Daya Ram Sahni (1879-1939). He was 1 of the earliest & most important Indian archaeologists, yet his name remains far less celebrated than it deserves.
In the early 1920s, Sahni conducted the 1st systematic excavations at Harappa. The site had been badly damaged by decades of brick-robbing (by Britishers) for the Lahore-Multan railway, but Sahni focused on Mound F & carefully traced the layout of major structures, including what is now known as the Great Granary.
His work helped reveal that Harappa was part of a sophisticated, planned urban civilization. In 1931, he became the 1st Indian Director-General of the Archaeological Survey of India. In this role, he worked to shift the focus of archaeology toward a more India-centric approach & strengthened the institutional framework for future excavations rather than preserving British-favored monuments.
The global spotlight & credit for the Indus Valley Civilization discovery largely went to John Marshall & the British-led team, in reality, Sahni’s pioneering fieldwork at Harappa & his leadership at the ASI were crucial in establishing the foundations of Indian archaeology. He & other early Indian archaeologists laid the groundwork that later scholars built upon.
His story is a reminder that many key Indian contributions in the colonial era were often overshadowed in the official narrative, even though they formed the backbone of the discoveries.
A cartoon being circulated on X says Indians should thank the British because James Prinsep deciphered the Brahmi script & helped recover our history. :))
Do you know before he became a so-called expert on our ancient scripts, Prinsep’s primary day job was serving as the Assay Master (chief metallurgist & currency controller) at the Banaras & Calcutta Mints. He was not an academic; he was an economic agent sent to fundamentally alter India's wealth distribution system.
Until the 1830s, India had a beautifully diverse, highly resilient decentralized currency system. Local kingdoms, merchant guilds & regional mints issued their own silver and gold coins. Local money-changers (Shroffs) evaluated coins based on pure metal weight. James Prinsep was the literal architect who destroyed this system.
Using his position as Assay Master, Prinsep spent yrs systematically studying the purity of native Indian coins. He did not do this out of cultural curiosity, he did it to calculate how the East India Company could completely monopolize India's money supply.
His efforts directly culminated in the Coinage Act of 1835: The Elimination of Indian Heritage: Prinsep spearheaded the policy that completely banned all local Indian regional coins & traditional designs. He personally oversaw the design of the new, uniform colonial Silver Rupee. He forced the removal of traditional Indian symbols, replacing them with the cold, imperial face of British King William IV.
What makes this a financial "thug" operation is how the transition was enforced on ordinary Indians. By passing laws that declared traditional regional currencies invalid for tax payments, the British forced Indian merchants, farmers & citizens to bring their centuries-old ancestral coins to Prinsep's mints. Under Prinsep's direct technical supervision, the British mints engaged in massive institutional exploitation:
- They took the pure, high-quality silver coins of Indian states.
- They melted them down in giant cauldrons.
- They charged the native Indians a heavy seigniorage (a minting fee/tax) just to exchange their own ancestral silver for the new British currency.
This artificial bottleneck triggered a massive shortage of circulating cash in rural India, causing local economies to crash while systematically vacuuming pure silver out of Indian hands & placing it directly under East India Company control. It was 1 of the largest state-sanctioned currency manipulation schemes in world history.
But what is often sold to us is the idea that Prinsep was a polymath who single-handedly deciphered our ancient scripts. Ask the same people who Rathnapala was & you are likely to be met with complete silence. :(
When I say I am against reservation, that doesn't mean I am against the concept of reservation itself. Rather, I believe the way it has been implemented in our country is problematic.
Take this example, this Sejal girl got an MBBS seat with 406 marks through the ST category. Just to put that into perspective, some students don't get an MBBS seat even after scoring 600+ marks. I myself had to take a drop year after scoring 600.
Now look at the lifestyle she follows. I find it hard to believe that she lacked resources or opportunities during her school years.
On the other hand, the people for whom this reservation was originally intended, the genuinely underprivileged tribal communities, often don't even know what NEET-UG is, let alone have the awareness, or resources needed to pursue an MBBS degree. The person who should ideally benefit from this reservation is often nowhere in the picture, while privileged individuals continue to take advantage of a system that was created to uplift the underprivileged.
I don't understand how this system, in its current form, is supposed to reduce social inequality. While there are certainly cases where genuinely deserving individuals benefit from reservation, but in majority instances the reality appears very different.
She is Sejal Pawar :
> She is a doctor
> Went on Pranit more show
> Made jokes about male dead bodies
> Make fun of D size of dead bodies
After that show
> Gained more than 2.5 lakh followers
> Still Working and wasn't fire from her job
> Didn't face outrage from any feminist and any other people because she is a women
> Many self-proclaimed feminists are even defending her now
If Himanshu deserved criticism for what he said, then why Sejal Pawar not receiving the same level of backlash?
Why is she gaining followers on Instagram and support instead of facing similar trolls and consequences?
Is this the equality of society?
A man cracks a joke and loses his career.
Meanwhile, women accused in cases that dominated national headlines are out on bail, keeping their jobs, or facing no visible consequences.
The message to ordinary men is crystal clear:
You don't need to commit a crime to lose everything.
An allegation, a controversy, or simply being on the wrong side of public outrage is enough.
While the entire country debates a man's words, nobody asks why accountability disappears when the accused is a woman.
One man loses his livelihood.
Others keep their freedom.
And we're still told this system is fair.

According to the latest official PLFS data: UP’s unemployment rate stands exceptionally low between 2.4% and 3.7%, significantly lower than the national average.
This account won't tweet about Punjab, where the unemployment rate is hovering between 5.3% and 6.1%, and over 82% of the workforce is trapped in the insecure informal sector.
Kerala that brags about literacy has an overall unemployment rate of 7.0%
Himachal Pradesh is reeling under a massive 7.9% unemployment rate, while Telangana is touching nearly 5.0% to 8.9%.
Yogi government has distributed over 9,00,000 government jobs completely on merit, with zero bribery, zero nepotism, and zero "under-the-table" recommendations.
Under Akhilesh Yadav's regime, government jobs weren't opportunities; they were auctioned. The UPPSC was turned into a family business under tainted figures like Anil Yadav, where job listings were custom-made to favor specific castes and relatives while deserving candidates were lathi-charged.

Badami Temples are older than Islam. In the caves and platforms you are not allowed to wear chappals.
Enter Hijabi employee of ASI. Deliberately wears chappals & fights with Hindus & Jains for protesting.
My real worry is are the Temples safe when nobody else is around??
1987. A room in New Delhi is thick with the smell of old files & cold tea. The United States has just delivered a stinging slap to the face of the Indian Republic. They have officially refused to sell India the 'Cray X-MP' Supercomputer, the most powerful machine on Earth, claiming that India would use it for nuclear weapons.
The American officials mockingly suggest that India does not even have the electricity to keep such a machine running. In the middle of this national humiliation, a young, soft-spoken engineer named Vijay Bhatkar is asked by then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi: "Can we build our own?" Bhatkar does not hesitate. He looks at the No of the West & says: "We will not just build it; we will build it faster than you can ship it."
The Americans did not just stop at refusing the sale; they actively lobbied other nations to ensure India remained digitally blind. They believed that w/o their Logic Gates, India would remain a 3rd world backwater.
Bhatkar realized he could not replicate the Single-Processor behemoth of the Cray. Instead, he turned to Parallel Processing. He decided to stitch together 1000s of low-cost, off-the-shelf microprocessors. It was like building a giant's brain out of the neurons of ants.
In 1991, while the West was still celebrating its monopoly, Bhatkar unveiled the PARAM 8000. It was not just a computer; it was a Gigaflop monster.
To prove the PARAM was real, Bhatkar ran a standard global benchmark test. The results were sent to an international conference in Zurich. The PARAM 8000 was ranked as the 2nd most powerful supercomputer in the world, behind only the American machines. But there was a twist: the PARAM cost a fraction of the Cray, performed better in tropical heat, & was built in just 3 years.
When the PARAM 8000 was 1st turned on, the team did not have a high-tech cooling system like the Americans. They used industrial-grade desert coolers & adjusted the airflow manually. It was the ultimate Jugaad that defeated the most sophisticated tech embargo in history.
A major US newspaper ran a story with the headline: "Denied supercomputer, Angry India does it!" The ghost of the Native Engineer had officially entered the silicon temple. Vijay Bhatkar’s history is the story of how India became the IT Capital of the world.
Bhatkar founded the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC). He did not just build a machine; he built an ecosystem. Every software engineer in India today stands on the shoulders of the man who proved we did not need the West's permission to compute. Bhatkar was the 1 who realized that if computers only spoke English, 90% of India would be left behind. He led the development of GIST (Graphics & Intelligence Based Script Technology), allowing computers to work in Indian languages. He gave the Machine a local tongue.
Today, Bhatkar is a Padma Bhushan awardee, but he lives a life of deep spirituality & simplicity. He vanished from the corporate headlines to become a philosopher of the digital age.
The West thought they could freeze India’s future by withholding a single machine. They forgot that the Indian mind does not need a 'Cray' to think; it only needs a 'No' to ignite. Forget building a supercomputer; Bhatkar built a mirror, & for the 1st time, the West had to look into it & see that the primitive colony had become the master of the code.
"I am about to commit sui cid€; if you are willing to help me, please say so."

"Solely to fulfill a twisted obsession with reaching Paradise."
"In the dead of night, a young Valmiki Hindu woman was forcibly made to recite the *K@lma* and was renamed 'Ayesha'."
For seven hours straight, she recounted her harrowing ordeal, weeping inconsolably.
"Brother, stand by me"—and we stood by her.
Last night, an FIR was registered against the criminal cl€rics involved.
