“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” -Nelson Mandela | Unapologetic when it comes to The Republic of Somaliland
@KSAmofaEN Since 26 Dec 2025, these countries have been fixated on The Rep of Somaliland offering no solutions, just constant insults. But 30+ years of stability and self‑governance speak louder than their statements. Somaliland reality

His Excellency President @AbdirahmanIrro is attending the World Governments Summit in Dubai for the second consecutive year.
The Summit convenes world leaders and visionaries to advance cooperation on the future of governance, innovation, and sustainable development.
During the forum, the President will highlight Somaliland’s enduring peace, democratic achievements, and development priorities, while strengthening partnerships abroad and furthering Somaliland’s quest for full international recognition.
Today, the #Somaliland National Army marked the 32nd anniversary of its founding, highlighting three decades of discipline, resilience, and national defense.
Since its establishment, the Army has remained a pillar of stability and security in the Republic of Somaliland, reflecting a sustained commitment to professionalism, self-reliance, and sovereignty.
Using “colonial borders” as an excuse makes no sense here. Somaliland is not redrawing Africa, it is claiming the same borders it had as a British protectorate, borders that were internationally recognised in 1960. This Spox here is talking BS
‘We cannot have a situation where countries are being separated or demarcated willy-nilly’ — South African FM spox on Israel recognizing an ‘independent‘ Somaliland
‘If we are to start tampering with the colonial borders, we really are going to open a Pandora's box’
@MTodayNews
Somalians are weird, stick to your daycare fraud and stealing @WFP & @USAID food, You can’t steal history. History isn’t yours to edit or loot. It’s 2026, the facts are public, the effort to erase & steal Somaliland’s history has collapsed
It was an honor to engage key stakeholders and leaders on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. My remarks highlighted Somaliland's distinctive historical journey, our right to self-determination, and the transformative promise of Israel's recent recognition for bilateral ties and regional harmony. I noted that recognizing us strengthens global stability and rewards merit. I concluded with a call to forge win-win partnerships in Red Sea security, trade, technology innovation, and joint efforts against extremism.

“Kill All but the Crows”: Remembering the Somaliland Genocide and Warnings of Its Repetition
“Kill all but the crows; kill the young and the old, rape, destroy and burn villages, level cities to the ground, kill even the wounded,” say cassette recordings attributed to generals of the dictatorship that massacred more than 200,000 Somalilanders during the 1987–1991 genocide.
This is the genocide that led to Hargeisa being nicknamed the “Valley of Death”; the genocide denied by Somalia’s envoy to the United Nations; and the genocide that Somalia’s current regime is accused of seeking to repeat, after its Defense Minister, Fiqi, called on Saudi Arabia to bomb Hargeisa to halt Israel–Somaliland relations by force and to compel Somalilanders to remain part of a failed state.
A 1991 video by American journalist Tom Felton documents massacres by the Somali Republic in Somaliland. The genocide left an estimated 200,000 civilians dead and forced millions to flee to Ethiopia. Cities and water reservoirs were destroyed, while around two million landmines planted by the Somalia regime of Siyad Barre continue to kill civilians and livestock.
🇸🇦 ,Turkey , 🇸🇩 , 🇪🇬 and 🇩🇯 interference in Sool Bari, Somaliland is not accidental. It is an axis of evil working to destabilise The Republic of Somaliland.
🇸🇦🇸🇴| The Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed Al-Muwalid, arrived in northern Somalia, accompanied by delegations from Egypt🇪🇬, Sudan🇸🇩, Turkey🇹🇷, Kenya🇰🇪, and Djibouti🇩🇯.
The visit reaffirms that Somalia’s territorial unity is a firm and enduring Saudi and Muslim commitment.

“I once traveled to Somaliland. Its people have nothing to do with terrorism in Somalia. They simply want to build a peaceful, functioning state and have good relations with the U.S., but they are being stuck in Somalia’s hellhole.” John Kiriakou, former CIA officer.
