„When we talk about the “mental health crisis” following COVID, we must speak with precision. We are not just seeing a population that is “stressed” or “anxious”;we are seeing a population whose neurology and biology have been altered.”
Great article by @AnciraBecky for @TheWHN
CBS News: '"The power of the internet:" How a Chicago writer founded an international literary magazine from her bedroom'
'Blair had lived with long COVID for nearly a year after her first infection in 2022.'

The ongoing pandemic has taught me that some people will prioritize their own convenience over your health for years, treat the smallest precaution as a giant burden, and then somehow still accuse you of abandoning them
This episode was just fantastic, especially since we don't see eye-to-eye on Cena. And I'm just having such a blast talking to Colette about wrestling at such a granular level. I think you'll like it just as much as we liked recording it.
“When lab mice with dormant breast cancer cells were infected with either influenza or SARS-CoV-2, the animals were significantly more likely to develop aggressive lung tumors.”
“something similar appeared to be going on in the human population.”
Looking at this video in 2026… so many of you rightfully were horrified by what she said back then but now most of you are operating like this.
What changed?
I mean when the majority of yall didn’t stand up against them rolling back covid safety measures I knew the the USA would not see a revolution in my lifetime 🤷🏽♂️😷
I find it odd that more disabled people aren’t communists and that more communists don’t talk about disability. Becoming an impoverished second class citizen due to a disability looms over every worker’s head. It unites us across every intersection.
so very honored to have been interviewed by @mikrosepri for @CBSNews@cbschicago on the creation of my literary magazine @sabrtoothmag, my experience with long covid, and its influence on my clean air practices in our community 🩵🐯
read it here! https://t.co/Tei43KHLYp
I am incredibly excited that @colettearrand and I are collaborating again, especially since it is about one of the first things we ever bonded over: our shared, peculiar love of professional wrestling 🥰

It’s becoming clear that mentally yall could not withstand one week in the life of a long covid patient and this is why 1) you’re ignoring us 2) half of you refuse to believe we exist and 3) zero meaningful progress getting left orgs to advocate for anti covid measures
there was a point where I would see something like this and have hope that at least a large chunk of my left-leaning friends would make meaningful change but no, I know now that no one will take a single proactive measure until the government forces them to
i’m being so serious. everybody needs to start masking again because of that cruise ship. people already got off the boat and went on flights that were in contact w people who’ve died from it and/or are sick themselves. take this seriously it’s a 40% mortality rate for EVERYONE
everyone needs to get more comfortable reading scientific literature, particularly about things that are widespread and uncomfortable, bc studies like this are relevant to literally everyone on earth and i'm tired of most of people being unaware or not caring. read ts
