The shift to a 5-day banking week can elevate the banking experience, allowing for enhanced customer support on weekdays. #Implement5DayBanking https://t.co/dMiQTfJwpO
A rested workforce serves the public better. With staff shortages and rising stress, 5-day banking is a service-quality issue, not a “perk.” UFBU has pursued this since 2015; IBA has recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and it’s included in the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024), pending clearances.
Let’s finish what’s already agreed.

employees, only 2 have left.
Here's their secret:
No sales contests. Ever.
While the financial services industry runs cutthroat competitions where the top 10% win trips and the rest get certificates, Anand Rathi does something radically different.
Every March 25th:
→ Employees are given off
→ Entire team goes on fully-sponsored international vacation
→ Spouses and children included
→ Zero performance criteria
Junior analyst. Senior partner. New joiner. Legacy employee.
Everyone boards the same flight.
Think about the message this sends:
While competitors are scrambling to close the financial year, Anand Rathi's entire organization is exploring Bali, Dubai, or Europe together.
As families.
The wealth manager who closed ₹100 crores and the one who closed ₹10 crores sit at the same dinner table.
No ranking. No comparison. No hierarchy.
Feroze explained their philosophy:
"We don't have sales contests because we believe in succeeding together."
Most companies create internal competition. This creates internal collaboration.
The result?
Industry-leading retention in a sector known for brutal poaching.
People don't leave Anand Rathi. Not for 20% hikes. Not for fancy titles.
Because you can't buy the feeling of being valued beyond your quarterly numbers.
The lesson for leaders:
Retention isn't solved with ping-pong tables or free lunches.
It's solved by treating people like family, not resources.
When you shut down operations for a week to take your entire team + families abroad, you're making a statement:

Dear @nitin_gadkari , there are three claims in this statement of yours. Let's go one by one.
1. "My brain is worth 200 crore a month" - No comments, as I don't have any mechanism to evaluate the money worth of one's brain.
2. "I am not at all short of money" - I'm sure you've plenty of money. So no arguments there.
3. "I don't stoop low" - This is where most, including me will disagree. Because when you call ppl questioning your policies as anti-national, you stoop low.
When you make policies that are detrimental to crores of citizens and their hard earned vehicles, you stoop low.
When you poke your nose into other ministries whereas the work of your own is in shambles, you stoop low.
When you arrogantly continue with your whims and fancies despite a conflict of interest being clear as day, you stoop low.
You stoop very low.
Enough is enough. The arrogance over E20 petrol must be answered with action. Join #NoCarSeptember, don’t buy, postpone, cancel, and cut down travel.

Dear Delhi, it's time to wake up and rise! The 10-year diesel vehicle ban is not about the environment, it’s a cover-up for years of failed planning, zero pollution control, and lazy governance.
Why should honest vehicle owners suffer when the real culprits are those in power who did nothing to build clean, sustainable alternatives?
Raise your voice. Demand accountability. Fight this injustice. Your car isn’t the problem, their incompetence is.
And remember, the whole of India stands with you.
This isn’t just Delhi’s battle, it’s every citizen’s fight against reckless and thoughtless governance.
As per Delhi govt orders, police today seized overage bikes and handed them over to registered scrappers, who will scrap them and pay the scrap value.
And just like that, the bike is gone. It could have been the family's only vehicle, the daily commute to work, essential for a job that required personal conveyance, or even the child’s ride to school. But now it’s gone, and the owner is forced to urgently arrange funds, buy a new bike, pay tax on it to the very system that took away the first one, or simply cope.
Third-world country, third-world infrastructure, first-world emission norms, seventh-world enforcement, and eleventh-world knee-jerk reactions.
@nitin_gadkari Sir Please make provision for allowing two wheelers on expressway which can easily ply on expressways. Fast tag can be issued to these certain class (250cc and above) of two wheelers which can help to save time for owners and increase toll collection for govt.

**Scam Alert** Massive EV Mobility Scam Using Taxpayers' Money!
India government's Electric Vehicle policy and schemes are nothing but a huge scam. It's just a heavily subsidized program for the rich that is being marketed as a masterplan to reduce carbon emissions and pollution. Here is the latest example.
BluSmart Mobility is India's biggest Electric Car based ride hailing service with nearly 8000 Electric Cars operating in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. BluSmart is based in Ahmedabad, and founded by Anmol Singh Jaggi, Puneet Singh Jaggi and Punit K Goyal in 2019.
Unlike Uber and Ola, it operates its own fleet with drivers working on monthly salary. How can a small startup company run a fleet of 8000 cars just like that? (1/8)

Subject: Response to Your Recent Remarks on Public Sector Banks
Respected Sir,
This letter is in response to your recent video regarding public sector banks, where certain statements made by you appear misleading and do not reflect the true contributions of these institutions.
1. You mentioned that a bank's name is synonymous with "vishwas" (trust). Indeed, the trust of the people in the Indian banking system has been strong since 1770 when the Bank of Hindustan was established.
2. Over the last decade, 53 crore Jan Dhan accounts have been opened, with 29 crore beneficiaries being women—a number greater than the population of the European Union and nearly equal to that of the U.S. This alone is a testament to the growing trust of the common people in banking services.
3. Across the world, people need to take leave to visit banks for work. This is not limited to banking but applies to various government offices, including Mohalla Clinics under your governance, where even for minor treatments like a headache, people had to take leave. Despite this, no corrective measures were introduced by your government. Meanwhile, public sector banks have evolved, providing digital passbooks, self-passbook printing, WhatsApp banking, mobile banking, and internet banking, enabling customers to complete banking tasks from home.
4. Perhaps you are unaware that 98% of metro, urban, and semi-urban bank branches are now air-conditioned, and rural branches are also equipped with the best possible facilities. The claim that customers must move from counter to counter is misleading. If a customer approaches the wrong counter, it is the duty of the bank staff to guide them—just as ministries guide citizens when they mistakenly approach them with unrelated issues.
5. Regarding your comment on lunch breaks, every individual born on this planet needs food to survive. Lunch breaks are limited to just 30 minutes, and bankers pay for their own meals—they do not rely on taxpayer-funded subsidies.
6. 500 million UPI transactions occur daily, with a major portion processed by public sector banks. In September 2024 alone, UPI processed 15 billion transactions worth ₹20.64 trillion. You mentioned that even a golgappa vendor accepts UPI while government banks struggle, but UPI itself is largely facilitated by public sector banks.
7. Between April and July 2024, UPI transactions amounted to ₹80 lakh crore, making India the highest in digital transactions worldwide, surpassing platforms like Alipay and PayPal.
8. As per 2019 data, 33% of public sector bank branches are in rural areas, whereas private sector banks have only 21%. This highlights the commitment of PSBs to financial inclusion.
9. You blamed banks for electricity cuts, which makes no sense. However, under your governance in Punjab, a major surgery had to be stopped due to a power failure in a government hospital. This reflects administrative failure, not a banking issue.
10. Cyber fraud awareness is a government responsibility, and it is unfortunate that politicians like you have failed to ensure financial literacy among citizens.
11. You claimed data leaks occur in banks, but this is misleading. Customer data in banking is fully secured. However, as per recent news, The United Residents Joint Action (URJA) Forum accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of unauthorized data collection under the guise of the Sanjeevani Yojana, a healthcare scheme for senior citizens. So, if anyone needs to answer for data misuse, it is your own party.
12. Bank service charges exist because no service is free anywhere in the world. However, alternatives exist.
Jan Dhan accounts have no minimum balance requirement.
Customers can withdraw cash from bank branches instead of ATMs.
Digital account statements are free of cost.
13. The claim that loans are forcibly given is baseless. Loans are provided based on necessity and eligibility, not forcefully imposed on customers.
