@sog_goog I just need George to have his Nico Rosberg moment. Plain helmet to save weight, starts running instead of cycling to save weight, anything he can to get those extra milliseconds

Alright, so if the USA can win the Olympic Gold, I don't think they should be poaching Canadian players away from Canadian teams. You clearly have your own talent pool to pick from.
I'm sorry, but what's going on @HydroOne ... This is the 10th power outage we've had this year. I understood the ice storms. I get that. But a slight bit of rain and then the lines go down? This is just getting silly.
on my 26th birthday, i wrote I Took A Pill in Ibiza...11 years ago. The song became popular several years after i wrote it.
This year I celebrated my 37th birthday. I feel proud to look at the song lyrics and know that NONE of them are true anymore. I've grown into a completely new man...one that i'm proud of. check this out...
@CabooseEK Because people would rather play (and watch) a sequel to something that doesn't need a sequel, rather than experience a new story.
Idk why, but that is the direction the media has come to right now. Anything remotely new in the past while has been slept on
Just finished watching Season 1 of “The Eternaut.” The drama, acting, direction, art design (especially the depiction of snow and the wall of cars), and VFX were all outstanding. The central themes are “an invisible enemy” and “a vast, lurking force behind it all”—very much in line with the great sci-fi classics of the 20th century born out of Cold War-era anxieties. Think “The Body Snatchers” by Jack Finney.
I haven’t read the original, but I hear the comic “El Eternauta” was created in the 1950s. It’s easy to imagine how the political unrest of the time shaped this story. This is truly a powerhouse work of science fiction from Argentina.
For today’s audience, perhaps weary of the usual zombie/plague-driven apocalypses, this offers a refreshing and compelling alternative. The pacing is slow and deliberate, so I recommend watching it without rushing, and definitely without spoilers. Can’t wait for Season 2.
