Australia remains Ukraine's largest military supporter outside NATO. I thanked Australia for its steadfast military, humanitarian and energy assistance, its principled sanctions policy, and its continued support through PURL.

We discussed further advancing the bilateral security agreement, expanding economic ties, supporting Ukraine's recovery, and maintaining international pressure on Russia.

Russia claimed last night's attack on Kyiv targeted only "military or quasi-military targets". Today, I visited a children's playground scarred by a missile and a nearby apartment block hit in a separate strike. At last count: 21 dead, 80 injured. Attacks on civilians must stop.
