Moreover, natural resources, ports, & trade terminals must be returned to the federating nations. AWP demands creating a balance between imports & exports through industrialization and increasing exports, redistribution of wealth and resources, & introducing progressive taxation

The AWP opposes granting of over 300 licenses for exploration and extraction of various minerals in the disputed region of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral without the informed consent of the local people trampling their fundamental rights and damaging their fragile ecology.

The AWP is of the view that natural resource exploitation and mining activities will cause significant damage to the ecosystem, water pollution, heavy metals in the soil, and disruption of surrounding communities' health, livelihood, and social stability.

The heavy presence of the military around these corporate ventures in N. Waziristan and Balochistan has led to human rights abuses, restrictions on movement, and disruptions to the daily lives of local populations.
