I would add that before Covid19, centres needed full enrolment, high parent fees and low staff wages - and that didn't work well all around. It certainly won't work now.

I would truly like to see the Case For Parent Fees In Child Care. I’ve honestly tried to force myself to make that case as a thought experiment, and I can’t! Let’s run through the contenders:

@rebeccakschulz I am concerned with the cancellation of the Benefit Contribution Grant that centres will be hiring less qualified staff. Less qualified staff = lower wage top ups = less money paid out for in benefits for wage top up that centres are now responsible for
