When watching "Why is Legal Immigration to the U.S. Almost Impossible" I learned that applying to become a legal immigration is extremely long and difficult due to it being very specific in every category. #socl214

"Mass Incarceration,Visualized" : Black people who have low education have normalized that they would end up in prison throughout the last 10 years, also I feel that it disappointing that America chooses to imprison minority groups than sending them to actually received. #SOCL214

When watching "The Distributing Housing of the Suburbs" I learned how the policies that were placed to segregate homes and schools still now in effect even worst than before though those policies now are illegal. They still play a major role in segregation today. #SOCL214

When watching "Why Do We Call Asian Americans The Model Minorities" I felt that the reason that Asians are discriminated by whites is because of jealously. When hearing that Asians deal with many mental problems due their "white given reputation" it's heartbreaking. #SOCL214

When watching "Why Does Privilege Make People So Angry?" I agree with the video even though having conversations about privilege is tough, I do believe if everyone in society realizes privileges, then it will become easier to create solutions for everyone to feel equal. #SOCL214

When watching the video "Pelo Bueno, Pelo Malo" I came to realize how so many colored people have been judge by their hair types. I feel that people need to appreciate all hair types because they're not a problem and it identifies who we are and our cultures. #SOCL214

@RafaelPatience I found that from watching the video too, I feel like there's a need for a change to happen within the film industry especially when it comes to black actors. They need to acknowledge black actors for their talent instead of the convenience of plot.

When watching "The Evolution of Black Representation in Film" I learned that most of the movies awarded involving black actors are because of the plot involving slavery, however now since black people have become aware of that fact they've come together to address. #SOCL214
