The superb South African batsman Kevin McKenzie died suddenly yesterday. RIP. He was part of one of the finest international teams in history (the unofficial SA team of 1983.) How many can you name?! (Mckenzie is back row 2nd from right.)
So sorry to hear about Kevin McKenzie. Marvellous cricketer with the Mean Machine who hooked quicks brilliantly & never wore a helmet! Wonderful person.
I wrote to him congratulating him on his SA selection & he reminded me of that 30 years later. Deepest sympathy to his family.
Top British attorney Natasha Hausdorff stunned the audience by completely destroying the Palestinian narrative about the conflict. The truth the world refuses to accept:
Palestine never existed as a sovereign Arab state.
The British Mandate of Palestine was a British territory taken from the defeated Ottoman Empire after 1917. Jews lived continuously in the Holy Land for centuries — long before modern Zionism. They were the majority in Jerusalem under Ottoman rule. Jews legally bought desert land (including the area that became Tel Aviv) and turned it into thriving cities and kibbutzim. Not a single Arab was displaced by these purchases.
The Arabs rejected the 1947 UN partition plan and launched war to destroy the newborn Jewish state. They lost. During that war, Arab armies ordered local Arabs to flee so they could “push the Jews into the sea.” Many did exactly that.
Israel has never committed genocide. It has fought for survival against repeated attempts to commit genocide against the Jewish people. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran’s regime are the real obstacles to peace in the Middle East.
The historical facts are clear. The propaganda is not.

@LuanaGoriss@TzfatBlog@OnlyGB Technically they are not.
The Sadducees/Tzedukim believed Torah was from Hashem, but the Rabbis had no power to explain or adapt the plain literal meaning. So no Mishna or Gemora.
Reform don't even believe in the Divine origin of Torah.
@IsraMum It worked for me. I had no clue what Shabbat meant beyond that song. But that, and my mother lighting candles, ensured that there would be a Jew from Texas making aliyah with his five (!) kids to the Shomron.
So, it worked for our people.
@Killuminvti@EYakoby Remember your fellow antisemites blew up the Hatzola ambulances only a few hundred feet from where this attack happened? So the NHS gave some of their ambulances.
Don't accuse people of lying, when you know nothing.
After the Golders Green Jew stabbings, BBC radio invited me on to discuss the alarming levels of Jew hatred in the UK. As usual, they muted my mic near the end. As usual, I recorded it myself and restored the sound. Here’s what they tried to silence as soon as I mentioned the Green party…
When my Mum (who lives in Jerusalem) was continually running to her building’s bomb shelter as Iranian missiles rained down, I suggested she come to London.
Thanks, she said, but I think I’m safer here.
I think she was right.
Mothers (especially Jewish ones) usually know best. 2/2
