@Philip_Goff I couldn’t get to the article, but I tweeted at Sean Carroll @seanmcarroll a year ago. He said that it needs not be only a brain. In a fluctuating universe you could have a Boltzmann galaxy, or even a Boltzmann Universe, so not evaporating into the void isn’t a good test
