👨🏾‍🍳🇬🇭✊🏾: My heart bleeds when respectable men who are old enough to be our fathers are put in such positions to be dragged and disrespected, because what is this shambolic display?

We were promised 9 amphitheaters in 2016; an additional 5 in 2020. In 2022, the Minister for Creative Arts, Tourism & Culture as well as his deputy, promised to finish at least 5 of these projects in major regions of the country by the end of 2022 cuz monies have been released. It didn’t happen.

In 2023, there was a sod cutting/done(April 26) in Kumasi to start work and the deputy minister said by July ending, it should be completed.

We are nearing the end of September and still counting & not even this Kumasi one being spoken of has been completed.

Each of these amphitheaters cost $500,000 kind courtesy the World Bank and according to Mark Okraku Mantey(Deputy Minister of the Creative Arts…), the monies for these projects have already been deposited into the Ghanaian accounts.

So where the fvck are the theaters? Thundering typhoons! Herh!
