Israel is continuing to use starvation as a method of warfare, a war crime, and as a tool to commit genocide against Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip.

The harrowing suffering of starving Palestinians in Gaza, including our own colleagues, on an hourly basis, is exacerbated by Israel’s cruel and devastating militarised non-neutral ‘aid distribution’ system. Over 800 people have been killed trying to access aid. This must stop now.

Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza must end now. Israel must immediately lift all restrictions on the entry of aid, reinstate the UN system of aid distribution and allow unfettered, safe, and dignified access to humanitarian aid throughout Gaza immediately. States must stop their inertia and urgently act to ensure Israel fully complies with international law.

ንስኻን ብፆትካን፤ ፖለቲካዊ መሪሕነት ትግራይ፤ ዋላ እኳ ሎሚ ኣብ ክልተ ደንበ ተመቓቒልኩም ንህዝቢ ኣደዳ ዝኸፍአ ሓደጋ ተሳጥሑዎ እንተሃለኹም፤ ከም እኩብ መሪሕነት ንኩሉኹም ብሓባር ክሓተኩም:: ብፍላይ ንኣኻን ንጌታቸው ረዳን ክሓተኩም!

እቱ «ምርሑና» ዝብል ሕድሪ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ኣበይ ኣሎ? እንተንኣሰ እቱ ህዝቢ ትግራይ ዝሃበኩም ጋሻን ጦርን ቀዳማይ ወያነ፣ ካባታት፣ ጋቢታትን ካልኦት ውህብቶታትን እንትትሪኡዎ እንተለኹም፣ እንታይ ይስምዐኩም?

እቶም ዓሰርተታት ኣሽሓት ኣንፃር ጀኖሳይደራት ተዋዲቖም ዝተሰውኡ፣ ኣማኢት ኣሽሓት ኣደዳ ጀኖሳይዳዊ ጨፍጫፍ ዝሓለፉ፣ ዓሰርተታ ኣሽሓት ኣደታትን ኣሓትን ክብረን ዝተግሃሳ፣ ብሚልየናት መረበቶም ዝሰኣኑ ኣደዳ ሞትን ስደትን ዝኾኑ፣ ዓሰርተታት ኣሽሓት ኣካሎም ዝጎደሉ፣ እቱ ተረፍ ሞት ኣብ መከራ ዘሎ ህዝብና ወዘተ... እዙያት ኩሉ እኳ ኣብ ኣጀንዳኹም ኣይኮነን ኣብ ማስታወሻኹም እውን ዘሎ ኣይመስለንን::

ስለዙይ ክሓተኩም ዝደለኹ፤ ፈፀምቲ እንተይኾይንኩምስ በላዕቲ ሕድሪ ስለዝኾንኩም፤ ሐዚ እኳ ንቱ ኣኽቢሩ ኣሚኑ ሕድሪ ዝበለኩም ህዝቢ ኣኽቢርኩም፤ ካብ ፖለቲካውን ምምሕዳራውን መድረኽ ትግራይ ንባዕልኩም ዘይተግልሉ? ህዝቢ ካብ'ዙ ፀዲፉዎ ዘሎ መፃብብ ብናትኩም መሪሕነት ክወፅእ ከምዘይኽእል፤ ኣይከኣልናን ኢልኩም ብግብርኹም ኣርኢኹምዎ ኢኹም!

ስለዙይ እዙ ክቡር ህዝቢ ካብ'ቱ ሐዚ ወሪዱዎ ዘሎ ዝተሓተ እንታይ ክኸውን ደሊኹም ኢኹም ትናሓንሑ ዘለኹም? ኩሉ ነገር ብኽብሪ እንትፍፀም ጥዑም እዩ! ንመኽበሪኹም ህዝቢ ትግራይ ድማ፤ ድንን ኢልኩም ምስ ይቕሬታ ክተኽብሩዎን ንባዕልኩም ክተሰናብቱ ንቡር እዩ!

Such formal determination by the U.S. State Department marks a crucial step toward preventing atrocities, potentially leading to broader political accountability and diplomatic pressure as well.
