Today, I joined other world leaders to witness the formal inauguration of His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Government and good people of Sierra Leone wish the new president a prosperous tenure. We also wish the #Nigerian people a future filled with peace and prosperity.

#Nigeria and #SierraLeone have always shared cherished and cordial relations. The relationship has continued and is evidenced in the socio-economic, technical, and security cooperation over the years, including the deployment of Nigerian troops in Sierra Leone to uphold peace and preserve democracy during our darkest years as a nation.

I look forward to working with President @officialABAT in sustaining the enduring bonds of partnership that exist between our two nations. 🇸🇱🇳🇬
