Non-fossil fuel sources now account for 50% of India's installed power capacity — and communities are seeing the economic benefits. The work isn't done, but India is showing the world what's possible.

Dr. Gladys West, the Black mathematician whose brilliance made GPS possible, has passed at 95. Born on a Dinwiddie County farm during the Great Depression, she overcame segregation to become a scientist and map the world—literally. May we never forget her legacy or the path she paved for generations of mathematicians.
"We have learned to fly the air like birds and swim the sea like fish, but we have not learned the simple art of living together as brothers,” said Martin Luther King, Jr. who received the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize.

In the thriving field of @APZBNF farmer Kallam Srinivas Reddy from Guntur district, the power of #NaturalFarming is clearly visible!
Through continuous live or dry mulching, the soil structure is protected, and moisture is retained, ensuring healthier crops even in dry spells. One striking result? 1 litre of water fully absorbs into the soil in just 2 minutes 50 seconds – showing excellent water infiltration and reduced runoff.
This enhances deep root growth, boosts plant immunity, and strengthens resilience against pests and diseases – all without any chemical inputs or synthetic pesticides.
We're strongly advocating for 365 days of green cover – maintaining living roots in the soil throughout the year using diverse intercropping, cover crops, and border crops. This not only enriches biodiversity but also keeps the soil alive and carbon-rich, supporting climate-resilient agriculture.
A true model of #SustainableAgriculture, #WaterConservation & #SoilHealth – right from the grassroots!

On this #worldhealthday2025 , @APZBNF reaffirms its commitment to building healthier communities by addressing anaemia and malnutrition through sustainable, community-led interventions. Anaemia, especially among women and children, is often the result of poor dietary diversity and nutrient deficiencies. Through our integrated efforts in 129 villages across Andhra Pradesh, we are promoting not only the production of safe, natural food but also the consumption of nutrient-dense meals. Our Midline Assessment 2024 shows promising trends—anaemia-free individuals increased from 46.11% in new villages (2023) to 52.57% in old villages (2019), Global Diet Quality scores improved from 11.3 to 11.65, and child development indicators (CREDI scores) remained consistently strong. By empowering communities through Village Organisations and Self Help Groups, #RythuSadhikaraSamstha ensures that nutrition is not just a goal but a lived reality—one meal, one family, one village at a time.
