There is a huge risk for touch-contamination for those who do PD. However, many patients don’t realize they have an infection until it’s too late, which can lead to peritoneal inflammation/scarring! They have flu-like symptoms and darkening of their effluent fluid. #askasn

@StotterMD Currently, it isn't specific to just WBCs and could potentially pick up other cell types, but we plan to compare it to a baseline measurement for each individual patient #AskASN
