Once again, another foolish, ignorant, blithering kharijite renegade reers his ugly head in the media, talking about who he would behead here and there, and that every single Muslim country is an apostate country. That well known kharijite, sensationalist, deviant and heretical misunderstanding of Islām. While once again, donning Military garms, probably doing so even when just going to the grocers or going to visit his aunties. You'd think the man was actually in a war, even if he's just queuing up for some fish and chips or topping up his oyster card. Insanity and sheer foolishness combined in human bodily form, coupled with an inevitable and embarrassing compund ignorance of Islām, its rulings, Tafsīr, Ahādīth and the way of the Companions. By Allāh, I would not be surprised if this man did not know how to make wudū or pray properly. We've seen this all before. One only wonders why someone like this isn't chained up and muzzled somewhere behind bars, instead of being platformed and given airtime to spew this madness. The Messenger of Allāh Muhammad - peace be upon him - spoke the truth when he said about the tyrannical, murderous, khawārij renegades that they are "the dogs of the hellfire" [Sunan At-Tirmidhī, Sahih with Al-Albānī]

Jazākumullāhu khayran. An important reminder in a day and age where AI is utilised recklessly to create or alter the images of living beings - sometimes of 'Ulemā of Islām who themselves despised photography - even though there is no added benefit to this, and the da'wah of Ahlus Sunnah was never in need of this. Imagine yourself facing the punishment of Allāh Yawm Al-Qiyāmah up until you breathe a soul into that image you created - and you will never be able to?! Lā hawla wa la quwwata illā billāh. This is what pushing the boundaries, daring to do what the people of Sunnah did not do before you and using "ikhtilāf" to justify excessiveness in these affairs leads to - one only wonders, what is next?
Allāh save us. Stay away from these practices that are being pushed nowadays Oh Salafis, do not play with the fire!
📢 We are delighted to announce a London-wide conference over the next two weekends inshaAllah, entitled:

▫️ A 1000+ Year Old Rebuttal Against Those Who Desire To Engage In Debating In Religion!
Imām Al-Ājurrī (d. 360H) - 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘆 - gives a powerful rebuttal against the arguments of the one who wishes to justify debating and argumentation in religion. This great Imām said:
"If he [i.e. the one trying to justify debating in religion] says: “Suppose there is a man whom Allāh The Most High has granted knowledge, then another man comes to him asking him about a matter of religion, disputing with him over it and arguing with him. Do you consider it permissible for him to debate him until the proof is established against him and his statement is refuted?”
Then it is said to him:
"This is precisely what we have been forbidden from, and it is (exactly) what those who preceded us from the Imāms of the Muslims warned us against."
If he says: “Then what should we do?”
Then it is said to him:
"If the one asking you his question is seeking guidance to the path of truth and not seeking to debate, then guide him with the gentlest clarification upon knowledge of the Book and the Sunnah, and the statements of the Companions, and the statements of the Imāms of the Muslims, may Allāh be pleased with them. *But if he wishes to debate you and argue with you,* then this is what the Scholars have deemed reprehensible for you, *so do not debate him,* and beware of him concerning your religion, just as those who preceded us from the Imāms of the Muslims said, *if you are one who truly follows them.*
If he says: “So should we leave them to speak falsehood and remain silent concerning them?!”
Then it is said to him:
"Your silence toward them and your avoidance of speaking to them is more severe upon them than your debating them, this is what the Scholars of the Muslims from the Righteous Predecessors (Salaf-us-Sālih) who came before us said." [1]

Muhammad Majdhūb in his book Al-'Ulemā wal-Mufakkirūn states that he considers the (misguided) group Ikhwan Al-Muslimīn to be the group that truly represents Islām comprehensively upon the Quran and Sunnah. He also says that Syed Qutb was a "Martyr of Islām", praises his book Fī Dhilāl al-Qurān as being a "tremendous" authorship, defends this book against what he says are mere "shubuhāt" and then proceeds to defend Syed Qutb against the mistakes that he states Shaykh Al-Albānī had "imagined". In the same book he also defends/praises Muhammad Qutb and Abul-'Alā` Al-Mawdūdi, and speaks highly of Yusuf Al-Qardāwī and Mustafa Sibā'ī (one of the appointed leaders of Ikhwān Al-Muslimīn in Syria).
Would the Salaf of this Ummah - the likes of Hasan Al-Basrī, Awzā'ī, Ath-Thawrī, Ahmad - spread the narrations/speech of someone like this? Even a complete beginner in Salafiyyah understands that material from the likes of this individual should not be spread to the people, let alone quoting from the exact same book in which he defends and praises some of the heads of misguidance of our time. Have we run out of the speech of the brilliant Scholars of Sunnah of old and new to spread?
"Oh but Shaykh fulān quoted him as well" is an immature response and is not a valid excuse for an upright Salafi upon true knowledge and principles.
And Allāh's refuge is sought from those trying to re-invent and water down Salafiyyah to suit their own agendas.
By Allāh, despite decades of these conferences, the warmth and delight one feels from being around many hundreds of Salafis who travelled in pursuit of beneficial knowledge - the neighbouring streets filled with brothers and sisters in their Islamic garments - never gets old!

Imām Sufyān Ath-Thawrī (rahimahullāh) said:
"It has reached me that perhaps a servant performs an action (of worship) in secret, and so the shaytān does not cease upon him until the shaytān overcomes him and so the servant starts to perform that action in public, and then the shāytan does not cease upon him up until he starts to like being praised for that action, and then the action is removed from being from his public good actions and is instead recorded as riyā (showing off)!"

Ahlul Sunnah do not fall into ifrāt (excessiveness) or tafrīt (negligence) regarding the issues of Jarh wa Ta'dīl (criticism and praise of individuals).
Therefore, when the Salafis refute or warn against an individual (which does not always necessitate tabdī'), then this is done upon principles, sound knowledge, truth, and justice.
Likewise, when they reject criticism against an individual, this too is based upon principles, sound knowledge, truth, and justice.
Jarh wa Ta'dīl has been preserved through these principles from the time of the Salaf up until today.
Furthermore, the scholars of Jarh wa Ta'dīl possess the highest levels of wara' (cautious piety), Taqwā, integrity, and are the furthest from being biased or passing rulings based on their desires.
Their rulings are not governed by emotions or emotional statements, such as:
- “But if you warn against him, then who is left?"
- “Who else are you gonna take knowledge from then?”
- “But Shaykh so-and-so praised him.”
None of these are principles of Jarh wa Ta'dīl, nor are they knowledge-based proofs. Therefore, they cannot be used to reject clear, sound, knowledge-based refutations and warnings. Nor can they be used to belittle or disregard the warnings made by scholars of Jarh wa Ta'dīl in that which they saw to be of benefit for the Ummah.
Food for thought for the intelligent Salafi.
Those Scholars who held photography to be permissible were not talking about:
- the selfie culture of the 21st century filled with showing off through posing, pouting, flexing, applying fake filters etc.
- excessively photographing oneself while flaunting ones riches or expensive possessions
- photography of oneself while indulging in harām such as music, free-mixing, and the imitation of sinners and disbelievers
Those who use photography to do the above lowly and/or impermissible things should not utilise the speech of people of knowledge who were known for their Taqwa, humility, righteousness and abstention from the Dunyah to justify their own whims and desires. In fact, these people have no business speaking about the Religion of Allāh.
Oh Salafi. From following the advice of Muhammad ibn Sirīn about checking carefully whom you take your religion from is; that you do not take religion - or religious articles, material, posts - from someone who is not upright and upon goodness themselves, up until they repent publicly if they engaged in public sin, rectify themselves, and clarify the error of their ways (see Surah Baqarah v. 160).
🆕️ “But there’s difference of opinion Akhi…” - a warning against using the existence of differing to justify sin, & the error of not understanding the difference between issues of khilāf vs issues of ijtihād (see last page below)
