The Scottish Association of Teachers of History have put together a great 'January Challenge'. This is a brilliant chance to uncover some hidden Scottish history, especially for our S1-3 pupils. Which heroine will you choose?
#SATH challenge time! We’ve put together a challenge for students to try to bring some stories of women in Scottish history to light. More details, including a copy of the PPT for pupils, is on the TEAM and Facebook groups
Have a wonderful holiday everyone who starts their school break today. Hoping for plenty of sun, good health and much joy for you all over the holidays.
A fascinating clip telling the story behind this photo of Elizabeth Eckford entering a previously segregated white school. It sees beyond one moment and examines the relationship between her and the girl we can see screaming at her. https://t.co/zRFl1soevr
Some great looking books here. Been hearing a lot about Sarah J. Maas and how good she is, so this is a timely prompt to add A Court of Thorns and Roses to my holiday reading list!
Moray School Librarians in Lockdown Recommend... more books for you to try! This is our final video before the summer and we hope you enjoy these recommendations :0) @LibraryatEA @TheLibraryatEHS@ForresAcadLib @LossieHighLib @SpeysideLRC @KeithGrammarLRC
Sorry to be a day late with this, but wow look at that hat! More amazing work by Marina Amaral, researching, then colourising photos from key events in history.

Today is #WindrushDay2020. 72 years ago, the Empire Windrush docked in Tilbury, Essex. On board were hundreds of people from the Caribbean, invited by the British government to take up vital jobs and help rebuild the country. (Image: Trinity Mirror/Mirrorpix/Alamy Stock Photo)1/6

I have seen that “Selma “ is on bbc iplayer at the moment. This is a fantastic film (overlooked at the oscars in my opinion) looking at the 196Os civil rights movement and MLKs march from Selma to Montgomery. (Uk 12 rating)
Lovely to see @ElginMuseum getting spotlighted for all their hard work. Jen is a star and we always enjoy working with her. Missing partnering with her this year to do a museum day for activities week but appreciating all the lockdown activities the museum are providing on-line
Today we are spotlighting @ElginMuseum for their continued support!🦖
Jen, Learning and Access Officer has delivered lots of workshops, talks and tours of the museum to many young people across Moray. Thank you very much for all your help over the years!❤️
