Umm interesting things on CT right now, I see a few people happy with Layerzero's 2nd snapshot and a few coping that it's not needed.

Well, you might have missed the Layerzero 2nd Snapshot, but there's something coming up in the next few weeks.

➜ Remember $W allocated 17% to the community ? But only 11% has been distributed so far.

➜ Which is 6M tokens.

Well well well, they even mentioned that this 6.78% will go to the community members who have "Actively" used the product.

Sounds similar to Layerzero's approach, huh???

Well, the Wormhole transactions are hitting pretty low daily, like 5-6K transactions.

It seems like pretty low activity is going on there, so if they decide to repeat the same thing by taking another snapshot, then things can be lucrative.

So best thing to do is farm the projects which are tokenless and are using Wormhole tech , this way even if Wormhole doesn't airdrop 6% to the onchain activity you still qualify for other airdrops

Are Things Brewing into this Sleeping L1 Giant @Algorand | $ALGO ?

In a recent article by @intotheblock, Daily Active Addresses on Algorand have surpassed Avalanche and Dogecoin, showing a big increase in activity on this blockchain.

There can be few key reasons behind this surge that I think could be huge for Algorand.

➜ Catalyst 1: Well Positioned for MiCA Regulations

Basically MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) is an EU law designed to regulate the cryptocurrency market in Europe

Recently, Binance announced that starting June 30, 2024 , it will restrict the availability of unauthorized stablecoins that aren't MiCA compliant for EEA users across its product offerings.

➔ So, why is this a game changer for Algorand ?

Well, Algorand has two stablecoins that are fully compliant with this MiCA regulations:

✦ $EURD by @Quantoz:

This Euro-backed EMT (electronic money token) is MiCA compliant and even registered with the Dutch Central Bank.

Big thing is it's even approved in 30 EEA countries and is only available on the Algorand chain

✦ $EURS by @stasisnet : Another stablecoin that meets EU regulations, providing additional options for compliance.

Additionally, MiCA designates MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) as “illegal” market abuse, and Algorand’s architecture ensures it is MEV-free.

This strong compliance framework positions Algorand favorably as regulations tighten, attracting more users from the European market.

➜ Catalyst 2: Algorand - The Home of RWAs

I see Algorand as the home of Real-World Assets (RWAs). While most blockchains are still planning to integrate RWAs, Algorand already has several fully integrated and operational RWA products.

Here are some standout examples:

- @lofty_ai : A fractional real estate investing platform with over 148 properties tokenized across 11 U.S. states.

- @travelx__: A Web3 travel marketplace with "NFTickets," transforming airline ticket ownership and resale. And so far over 2.2M Nfttickets have been issued, which is huge.

- @realio_network : Digital private equity firm providing a platform for creating, managing and investing in RWAs.

- @meldgold: It enables gold and other precious metals to be tokenized on blockchain, so consumers can own physical gold in digital form

Currently, $ALGO sits around a good and strong support range of $0.16-0.18 and is bouncing off from there.

It will be interesting to see the price action with upcoming RWA integrations and developments. It could potentially rip off to $0.46 in the mid-term, so it's worth keeping an eye on.
