We are convening the 7th South-South Institute on Sexual Violence. Theme: Courage, Hope & Dignity for Survivors of Sexual Violence." This event will provide a platform for dialogue, learning, and reflection among survivors, practitioners, researchers, policymakers, & partners.
We need to reaffirm our collective commitment to courage, hope, dignity & inclusion 4 survivors of #CRSV. Silence must never be mistaken for absence. By listening, learning, researching & acting together, we can help build systems of protecn & care that leaves no survivor behind.
All Set: All is set for the Kumi High Court Open Day, which will be presided over by the Principal Judge, Lady Justice Jane Frances Abodo, this morning.
The Open Day is going to be held at the Kumi High Court grounds under the theme, “Justice that Listens, Serves and Resolves.”
The engagement has brought together judicial officers, justice sector actors, local leaders, court users and members of the public for a day of interaction, sensitisation and feedback on court services.
It will also provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about court processes, available justice innovations and the Judiciary’s ongoing efforts to enhance access to Justice
Support groups help build the courage of survivors because after listening to the stories of others, you realise that you are not alone. They also provide therapy through the activities aimed at improving our lives such as saving and peer to peer counseling. #survivor#SSIVII
